A reverend says a black doll found hanging from a makeshift noose in a Philadelphia playground was apparently staged by a group of kids who wanted to “creep people out.”
Police say they received a 911 call around noon after a city worker found a black doll hanging from a telephone wire with a makeshift noose around its neck at the Weccacoe Playground at 4th and Queen Streets.

“Some young children came forward and confessed that they actually did it. Believe it or not, these children were under the age of 13. They were black and they were white and they live here in the neighborhood,” said Tyler.
Another fake hate crime.
How does a doll hanging from a tree rate as an emergency that one calls 9-1-1 for? Did I miss something here?
Having been a young boy myself, I can easily imagine doing this.
The kids are just not cognizant of the politics that adults apply to what they did. They just thought it would be fun or funny to creep people out. Doing this and getting caught is part of the road to adulthood and adult sensibilities.

Bet they got some big giggles watching the “A-Dolts” going into melt-down mode. Expect to see much more of this stuff from the kids.

Prosecute whoever called 9-1-1 because a doll scared them. But if someone didn’t get their order of Chicken McNuggets, that would be perfectly understandable.
The fact that a city employee had to call for backup says a lot more about government than a few kids playing a prank.
The police are routinely called for imagined expressions of “hate.” Not hate crime.
It is not a crime to scratch TRUMP on a sidewalk, or to throw a banana peel on a tree, or to eat watermelon.

A friend of mine is a retired cop and says black and whites doing crimes together is a growing trend. The white kids figure they will have access to the excuses the black kids get away with if they are caught. The black kids figure they will have access to the white kids financial resources to higher lawyers. It is a win-win for both of them.
Never, EVER end your sentences with a preposition. The science is settled on this issue.
So we just have to take an inner city “reverend”s word that it was children, including white children, who did this? I’m calling BS.

It would creep me out to see a black anatomically correct and hugely hung male doll.
Perhaps they meant hanged or lynched?
