FBI Papers Show Payments to Trump Dossier Author Steele
Newsmax ^ | 4 Aug 2018 | Sandy Fitzgerald

The FBI Friday released 71 heavily redacted pages describing that it had corresponded with former British spy Christopher Steele, the author of a dossier alleging collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, and revealed the agency was paying him to gather intelligence.

The records show Steele was being paid for work as a "confidential human source" for an unspecified amount of time, and that he'd told the FBI he had informed a third party he was acting as an agency source, reports NBC News.

In addition, the papers show the FBI had determined Steele was the source for an online news article.

Even though the FBI has labeled the released file as "Records between FBI and Christopher Steele Part 01 of 01," the former spy's name itself doesn't appear in the documents, notes the Washington Examiner.

The redactions make it impossible to tell when the FBI started paying Steele, NBC News reported. However, in February 2016, the agency "admonished" Steele. A federal law enforcement official explained that this simply means he was briefed on his duties of being an informant, not being punished or criticized.

Then, on Nov. 1, 2016, just a week before the presidential election, the FBI told Steele he should not "obtain any evidence whatsoever on behalf of the FBI," as it was not likely to keep working with him.

However, in February 2016

the date keeps getting pushed back and back, closer and closer to 2015. Remember Clinton said she 'loaned' the DNC money because the DNC was 'broke' ( in exchange for 'complete control' of course ) - and the DNC used that funding to pay Steele, and, bonus dollars round, secured a second level of income for him from the gubmint, facilitated by a third party and government insiders.

It can't get any clearer.

Because Hannity is a blowhard who makes every story about himself and repeats the same old tired cliches over and over again. Over time I got tired of listening to him. Is he good at times? Sure but I cannot get over his repeated interruptions

I think they are being ‘acted upon’ just not for us to know about yet...

Stop and think what Our President said on the campaign trail:

“I don't want people, enemies, knowing what is being planned”...and the people in his cabinet do not talk about what is going on...enter the ‘fake news’ of today...

Fake News has to report on something, whether it is on the Internet, paper or t.v. or radio; if not, why are they around...they haven't got the ‘leakers’ in the White House like they did for 8 years and years before that, so they make the crap up and lie about everything...

Just today over the La-bronze James and Don Lemon comment Our President made, ‘fake news’ is out saying that Our First Lady is standing up for James...is she really or is the ‘fake news’ pitting the President and First Lady against one another for headlines...

I think ALL media is ‘fake news’ and unless I hear it out of the President or First Lady's mouth, I don't believe it...’crying baby Acosta’ can wet his panties 24/7 and get no where...

They wouldn't be such money hos as they are now if they were made to live under the same rules and laws that each of you have, placed on you by those who are exactly not under the same rule/laws that have been placed upon us by them.

We pay for the tyranny of the minority and something better change quickly.

Now we need to know who gave Ohr the authority to keep using Steele after the FBI (who “ran” him?) cut ties to him.

This is a serious breech of professional etiquette, operating procedures, or both. OHR now becomes a much more important player in this whole Clinton/DNC/Fusion GPS, Yahoo and Comey cabal of subversion.

Also, his wife Nancy is another key player since she worked for everybody at one time, and perhaps she was a secret contact to Steele or for Steele, or both. If there was any “Russian collusion”, who better than she (a Russia expert) and Steele (a British MI-6 intelligence agent) to set it up with their contacts in Russia.

Lots of important questions to be asked and if the Ohrs refuse to cooperate, cite them for contempt of Congress, immediately take away their security clearances (if she still has any), and put them before a grand jury where a refusal to answer its questions will send them to jail for the life of that grand jury.

If there are any domestic traitors in this affair, re the subversion and removal of a sitting US president, then count the Ohrs in the middle of it, along with Weissman, Comey, Yates, Strzok/Page, and the other well known “usual suspects”.

As usual, there will be some discussion, but the guilty parties will not be prosecuted. Never fails. Why bother with the hearings? no democrat or other left-leaning wacko is ever made to pay the penalty for his crimes.

hillary on Benghazi - nothing.
stroke on fbi trying to destroy Trump - nothing.
bammy kissing iranian a$$ - what hearings?

Mueller is there to cover his own butt

Mueller is one of the principle conspirators that have tried to overthrow the elected government of the US. Brennan, Rosenstein, and Clapper are certainly among the conspirators. There are others - covert participants - they will be known.

Taxpayer money used to undermine the choice of leaders of The People.

A strong case of Clinton Foundation money will be forthcoming...

Obama needs to be charged with this. Can you imagine if a Republican president presided over this kind of corruption.

Hannity doesn’t listen. He doesn’t seem to respond to what the guests say, he just wants to hear himself talk. However, thank goodness for Hannity. He’s hammers on this every night. He just needs to let his guests talk until they are finished.

So, now it's the FBI that hired Steele to gather dirt on Trump...is that it??

Agreed. All things considered, I'm glad he's there.

But I can just hear his wife now, telling him, "Sean - for the last time - will you just shut up and let your guests speak??"

It really is annoying. So much so, that I haven't listened in a long time.

Nothing new here. I have been quite confident for a long time now that the Obama admin illegally spied on Trump and associates, and set into motion (ongoing) an impeachment effort based on pure B.S.

The question is, what the heck can we do about it?

All the people with power to prevent it were elected officials and senate confirmed appointees. What happened after the election is really disgraceful. I think the senate RINO's were out to get Trump too and had a major influence over what was going on. Even to this day, you have senators like Rubio backing team Mueller. At this point, I guess you let it play out. The longer this goes on, the worse it gets for democrats. There is new embarrising stuff percolating up from basement of the DOJ everyday.

We are far better off with Hannity and Dobbs than without them.

Wouldn’t you agree?

They are solid-as-a-rock heroes if you ask me. I’m not going to worry about the fact that they get over excited at times, and interrupt their guests - at least they invite the right guests.

My biggest complaint about Hannity was inviting his “good friend” Geraldo Riverez on his show all the time, but thankfully, that relationship seems to have cooled down a bit.
