One could live in Germany and have a German passport, but that doesn’t make one German.

However, if you are from Turkey, for example, and are an ethnic Turk, but live in Germany and even be a citizen of Germany, you’re still not a German.

I can’t say I am terribly upset about Germans meeting their end, after what they did to 6 million Jews during WWII.
