DON'T GET NUKED
The Navy and Marine Corps rightly spend much of their time on chemical, biological and radiological training. As bombs and triggering devices become more mobile and terrorists become more sophisticated, it is important to prepare ourselves for disaster while hoping that it will be avoided. Regarding chemical and biological warfare, it is especially difficult to believe that something so small and invisible can be so deadly and dangerous. Just a little toxin in the air . . . and the next thing you know you're doing the "funky chicken" on the ground. Bad attitudes can be like that, too! Invisible and deadly. So can negativity, apathy, lethargy, and passivity. You can't really see those invisible attitude-toxins. But they are deadly poison. Just one little taste . . . and destruction of the soul follows.
Prayer: Heavenly God and Protector of our lives ... Give us a zest for life. Protect us from all the poisons and toxins that threaten our soul and spirit. Help us to suit up with anticipation and excitement for all which life has to offer. Cause us to breathe in the fresh air of purity and righteousness. And, Lord, if there does come a time of destruction and war, protect us from any form of chemical, biological, or nuclear warfare. May common sense and peace prevail in this troubled world and bring us hope. Amen.

I didn’t think today would come since they had a habit of putting more uniforms in the crate from time to time. Once they stopped, it began to feel like progress was being made. LOL!
The new crate isn’t as tall and there are other items besides uniforms in it which will be set aside. The guys will put those things out. He brought in several other crates, too, and one of those also has uniforms and other items. It appears they’re getting ready to put a bunch more of the Tupelo stuff on display. Won’t be long before it’ll be time to take the camera again. :-)
Bet the kittens were soooooo excited to see their momma again. They had no idea where she went. Glad they didn’t try to nurse. She should be healed enough they won’t cause any problems but she’s probably still a little tender.
Happy kittehs in TX tonight. All together again.

Whew! Thank goodness there’s other stuff in there. Maybe it won’t be too awful once you get the stuff sorted out. I can hardly wait to see new pictures!
I am just thankful that she healed well. Yesterday, she scooted out of the bathroom and as my cats were lurking right outside the door, she hustled under the bed. Stayed there nearly all day. When I came into that room hours later, she was resting like a queen at the foot of the bed...on the bed. I had to laugh...but then I put her back into “her” room. She was very quiet all night. She’s the least trouble of any cat I’ve dealt with! Thank goodness. LOL!

The two crates with uniforms and other items are stuff that has been on display already. It was packed up temporarily when they did a major rearrangement of everything a short time ago. Shouldn’t take long to touch up the uniforms and hang them back out along the walls.
The other crates are from the mountain of crates stacked in the shop building. They’ve made several trips to MS this year and stacked everything out there. That’s what will be interesting to see as they unpack everything and put it out. I have the feeling they’ll do some of that tomorrow.
I’m glad the lil sweetie healed well too. Most do but a few have problems with dissolvable stitches and it takes longer.
I’m not a bit surprised she was resting like a queen on the bed. Prime “real estate” for kittehs. LOL! I’m just surprised she didn’t do it sooner since you let her roam the bedroom a few times this week.

Cute puppehs.
They wouldn’t stand a chance at our “zoo”. LOL! Most of our kittehs are bigger than they are. :-)

Not a lot of rain, but more than sprinkles for a couple hours. We’ll take it.
So glad LB is doing so well, and now back with the family. Hopefully she will let them know you are one of the good guys.

Slow rain is a good thing. It soaks in and helps the roots! So thankful you’re getting what you are!
I did get to pet a couple of the little darlin’s this evening while they ate. But they always bolt when they find out a human has a hand on their backs. LOL!

I went to work for a couple hours, stopped at the credit union to turn in some account paperwork (taking my Mom’s name off and adding my sister), and then got gas. Rain started later.
Pretty exciting getting that tote cleaned out.
You and your heating pad can be best friends for a while.

Yay! I’ll be heading out soon, so had to get my turn early. LOL!
If I don’t get sleep soon, I’m gonna embarrass myself in the morning when I bonk the pew. :)
