“Ed, can you tell us who manages federal forests.”

BLM. They manage about 40% of CA.

“Don’t try to shovel a pile of self serving, Indefensible bull feces to people who lived out there”

Hey, dimwit.

Those rules are FEDERAL rules imposed upon us. Not state.

I think President Trump should tell Governor Moonbeam to go shove it.

California is lost, they'll NEVER vote for President Trump or ANY Republican going forward. Nothing to lose here by PDJT telling them to go pound sand.

Rational thought and facts are lost on California haters.

They are as dumb and irrational as Dim Trump haters.

Have the displaced families contact FEMA. Deal with them directly, do not send $1. to any Californial gov’t. agency.
These are Americans, and we should help them, not Cal.
Then, tell Brown not $1. of Fed taxpayer’s money, until Cal. rejoins the U.S. and conforms to its immigration laws.

United States Department of Agriculture.
US Forest Service is an agency in the of Department of Agriculture.
USDA takes care (supposedly) of all National Forests; US Interior Department gets all National Parks and BLM lands.
What little is left goes to state and county agencies.

I also think that the Feds should help out here (course I live right near Hayfork), but you are wrong to think that Brown and his policies are unrelated.
Under governor Browneye (as in asshole), the environazis in this state have gone totally berserk.
No funding for hazard reduction work.
No funds for fuel load reduction.
No funding for air tankers which are desperately needed.
Regulations up the ying/yang against cutting fire roads (even into federal lands).
No timber cutting allowed to thin forests (that’s also a federal f#ckup).
Enviro regulations that make reduction of hazards on public land almost impossible.
So yeah, Governor Shitstain has a lot to do with the wildlands fire problem here in California.

You probably remember those fires we had in the Angeles and San Bernardino National Forests back in 2008 or 2009, the winds turned and blew ash and cinders all the way to Long Beach.
Most folks live their whole lives and never see that.

Let’s just stick with the President should send whatever aid would be normal for the Feds to send in a situation like this. All that other stuff is way beyond anything I was talking about. Valid points, just not what I was referencing.

Why? You think Trump will loose the republican vote out there....oh that’s right, there is none. I would have told Brown to go F himself, and to the morons that choose to live in nature, no insurance, no house. It’s not up to the taxpayers to bail people out that can afford to live there.

Liberals love to claim that California has the 6th largest economy on the planet and they are carrying the rest of the US.....I don’ think they need much help

Isn’t there enough cheap labor in California to handle this or are they all too busy protesting to go fight fires?

When we start basing federal help on how a state voted in the presidential election, we become a third world crapper country. I get your emotion but you are not thinking clearly.

You keep the brush back from your home. You can’t cut swaths through all the forests as one person advised.

I think the U. S. Forestry Service does too.

The point is, it’s not really California to blame for how the forests are managed.
