Donald Trump Jr is in hot water on social media after posting a picture of his eldest son holding a gun on Thursday.
The 40-year-old is under fire after posting a throwback picture of nine-year-old Donald Trump III holding a double-barreled shotgun while on a duck hunting trip.
'Donnie helping me out in the #duck blind last season,' he said in the post caption, tagging the photo in Texas.
Definitely the best #hunting buddy out there. Get them outdoors early and often... you won't regret it!!!'
The image has garnered split reactions, with many wondering if it is safe for such a young child to be holding the gun.
'Guns are a dangerous toy for a child,' said one person in the comments.
Another added: 'You truly are disgusting....'
'Please tell me this is for food and not just a sport; and that its being done as painlessly as possible,' a different parent stated.

My moonbat aunt and he snowflake daughter posted a photo of them proudly standing up for their “rights” wearing their vulgar vagina hats at that silly women’s march.
I immediately invited my kids to take a phot in the basement that we entitled “Standing Up for Our Rights Too.” The photo featured.
Son carrying AR-15, American flag shirt, NRA hat
Son carrying AR-15, Hillary for Prison shirt, MAGA hat
Daughter carrying pink Ruler LCP380, NRA hat, American flag shirt
Me carrying AR-15, Maga hat, Black Guns Matter shirt
Poster in background of Ronald Reagan
Framed print of George Washington praying by his horse.
It ignited a bit of a controversy within our circle of family and acquaintances. Our friends and much of the family loved it.
Right on. I can't even pretend anymore to give a crap what leftist mutants think about anything. There's an acronym that was pretty common on this site a while back. It's TWANLOC...Those Who Are No Longer Our Countrymen. I regard them no differently than I do vermin.
for most kids in rural areas like Montana where I grew up nine is the age where you introduce them to sports hunting. A kid intro to guns at that age is more likely to respect the weapon later on in lie then the kid who is not exposed.
we should be saying what a great dad don jr is because he is actively in his kids life.
Looks like a 410...... great for boys shooting at ducks.
I remember mine well.
For the record....... I was trained by the best. He took me under his tutelage and I am an expert with a duck call.
Lots try but most never get to my level
Tell the Lefties to stick where the Sun don’t shine. I was taught gun safety and how to shoot at 9. I was given my own first rifle/shotgun at 13.
Yes. Keep our enemies in a tizzy and fighting at shadows. Very wise.
You had a shotgun? All we had were slingshots.
Kewel...
Holding a gun. And apparently being supervised and apparently holding it correctly. Proverbial tempest in a teapot.
I am a wee bit concerned about Trump's kids"
Richard head!
And hearing protection. Spoiled brat. I’d guess the shotty is an over/under, but”double barreled” sounds so much more redneck.
Child abuse! A kid that young should only be allowed a 410.
Tell all the social justice snowflakes to pound sand.
It’s none of their damn business how he raises that child. He is spending time, teaching, being a role model, and providing parental guidance...you know...all the things missing from the soulless, Godless world of the lefturds.
“Hey Snowflakes”
Wrong site.
My kids did fine when very young. I let them shoot the MAK-90, which is a semi-automatic AK47 clone.
Just a manifestation of the vice called effeminacy that plagues todays society.
At the Washoe range or open space. I know there isn’t much left in the Reno area where you can go shoot on open range. Plus the fire danger.
Please tell me this is for food and not just a sport; and that its being done as painlessly as possible,’ a different parent stated.
LOL
Yeah, and the fish you had last night didn’t die from oxygen deprivation after being towed into a net...
Twitter leftists meltdown over something every hour, what else is new?
