Just stop all federal money going to local/state law enforcement. Most of the money is sent to the same cities and states that have the sanctuary status anyways. Like most federal aid it follows poverty.

It’s time for Scotus. Immigration is TOTALLY Federal. There is no states rights.

I’m so sick of this crap about calling them immigrants and relationships with the police.
immigrants do not have a problem, it is the illegal immigrants which have a problem.
Two groups are very different, and most legal immigrants do not want illegals here since they went through the proper channels.

Oh, look - another Federal judge-president has weighed in to the governing of the United States from the replica Oval Office in his judge's chambers...

The Federal Gobmint controls and regulates interstate commerce in goods etc...so illegals are engaged in illegal interstate commerce and travel....therefore should be closely regulated.

Just another black-robed clown who thinks he is president of the United States.
They should send a US Marshal to punch him in the mouth.

Gee, no judicial activist (that’s what judges are now days) had a problem when the NHTSA forced states to enact seatbelt laws or lose federal highway funds.....

Actually there is no requirement that local jurisdictions enforce federal law or even cooperate with federal authorities. The recent spate of allowing marijuana usage by the states is in contravention of federal law. The DEA can move on stores that sell pot but it is unlikely they will. The judge here follows Ronald Reagan’s direction and understanding of federal vs state power. The non citizenship voting thing, spoken of on other threads, is different as it confers a right spoken clearly as belonging to citizens by the 26th Amendment

It’s some random dude pretending he’s President of the United States - like these black-robed clowns...

law enforcements relationship with immigrant communities and decrease the cooperation essential to prevent and solve crimes both within those communities
This is a total canard and not true. They only want their votes.

Gee, no judicial activist (thats what judges are now days) had a problem when the NHTSA forced states to enact seatbelt laws or lose federal highway funds..... England's King John [of Magna Carta fame] had a saying for that:
"The law is in my mouth."

All of these idiotic decisions get appealed and eventually the Trump position will be vindicated either by an Appeals Court or the Supreme Court. That article is written as if the Circuit Court Judge has the last say, he does not.
