If socialist candidates are the future of the Democratic Party, that future won’t be too bright, if the findings of a new Hill.TV/Harris X American Barometer poll hold true.
Seventy-six percent of respondents in a recent survey said they would not vote for a “socialist candidate,” while 24 percent of those polled said they have no problem with the hypothetical candidate.
Those results conflict with Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez’s prediction that young politicians like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez — a dues-paying member of New York City’s chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America — represent his party’s “future.”
Ocasio-Cortez beat Rep. Joe Crowley, the fourth-ranking Democrat, in a June primary.
Other primary candidates, like Maine Democratic Senate candidate Zak Ringelstein, who is challenging Sen. Angus King, are running as Democratic Socialists.
Yet not all Democrats are thrilled with this trend.
In an op-ed for the Wall Street Journal earlier in July, former Democratic vice presidential candidate Joseph Lieberman cautioned his party about turning too far left.
“The policies Ms. Ocasio-Cortez advocates are so far from the mainstream, her election in November would make it harder for Congress to stop fighting and start fixing problems,” Lieberman wrote.
The Hill.TV/HarrisX poll was conducted between July 21-22 and sampled 1,001 American voters.
By the time cnn, msnbc, and other media are done reporting and “polling” socialism will have a 75% support nationwide.
Problem is a bunch of those 76%ers go on to that Great Tea Party in the Sky every day. And Millenials appear to think Socialism is just peachy.
Howard Stern had a very telling, funny segment prior to the election where he sent out a member of staff to conduct 'man on the street' interviews with registered democrats in Harlem NY. Few were even remotely aware of what Obama's positions actually were on various things. So the interviewer read them the positions of his republican opponent and told them they were Obama's positions and asked what they thought of them. Of course, thinking they were Obama's, they agreed 100% with every one.
Sorry, but a vast majority of the sheeple only know a socialist when a socialist lets the public know that’s what they are, while they vote for true socialists all the time, if they just still call themselves a Liberal.
Therefore, in spite of the survey results, tons of sheeple vote for socialists in the U.S. all the time, as long as the person they are voting for leaves that label in the closet. How it that possible? The sheeple are mostly ignorant and can’t tell there is no difference at all between many “Liberal” positions and socialist ones.
They are the party that demonizes capitalism and Christianity, wants to empower the government, write checks to everyone whether they work or not and wants to take over all business.
Not socialists.

Yes that will work on just about any Democrat. Either direction.
Take an Obama thing and put Trump’s name on it. They’ll go ballistic.
I never thought conditioning could possibly work on anyone with an I.Q. over 30 points. Then I met Obama voters and found out just how wrong I was.
However in the November, 2016 election 65,845,063 voters did exactly that.

That's because the media covered up that he was elected in Ill. state election under the "New Party", a communist party in Chicago. They left out his connections to Farrakhan. They left out his connection to Odingo in Kenya. They left out Odinga locking Christians in churches and setting them on fire. We still don't have any records of his activity in each college he attended. The Muslim groups he supported were based on Communism as well as totalitarianism. The LA times spiked a story and pictures that connected him to terror organizations. His connection to the SDS and American communists and terrorists were known, but didn't seem to make a difference. His homosexuality was known along with his drug use, but it didn't seem to make a difference.
Haha. There must be some buffets open 24 hours a day. That must be his favorite. :P
You nailed it. The socialists won't use the word during the campaign. The shallow thinkers could fall for it as they did twice with the 0bomb.

I’d believe if the indoctrination centers would teach government and free markets correctly, most young people wouldn’t be brainwashed to think the government solves everything...they don’t...
