Tucker Carlson commented on the apparent drastic change in Democratic Party priorities over the years, which has led to some (more like most) on the left supporting "open border" policies.
Carlson said Democrats used to have a "clear focus" that "American citizens were the party's priority."
Now, he said that "Americans are an afterthought," and challenged his viewership to find a Democrat running for election on the subjects of the public school "collapse", declining middle class or opioid epidemic.
He said Democrats instead understand they need "reliable new voters" who won't make "difficult demands" -- and therefore, "immigration is the only issue."

Unless our illegal AND LEGAL immigration polices are changed, the democrats will have full monopolistic control (like they do in california) of the US in the next ten to twenty years.

I would suggest that the disease, in this case, is lack of voter ID, not legal or illegal immigration.
Proper vetting of voters at the polling place make immigration irrelevant to the political process.
Their agenda is not hidden. “Die, whitey” comes through loud and clear. It’s an uncomfortable thing for many people to face, and lots of older Americans (even on this board) still think either that the country still has the demographics of 1965, or that the demographics don’t matter because all people are exactly the same.
They are not “packing” the electorate, they are changing it out for one that favors them.
If you continue to dilute something, eventually, you will have changed the contents entirely.
The Democrats have already been breeding and importing clueless voters for over 50 years.
Right now we take in a million and half legal immigrants per year. Most from Mexico and South America. these voters vote 70% democrat. Even if we eliminated all illegal immigration, in the 20 years or less the democrats will still have enough voters for full control of the country.
I have nothing against Hispanics. For the most part they are a hard working people. But we have to be realistic, allowing in people who vote 70% for democrats is national suicide.

Indeed; there is an old saying "Demographics is destiny." If there is not a vast change, probably a vast violent civil war, the US recalcitrant population is simply being drowned by an incoming tide of undocumented Democrat voters.

Absolutely-- another way of getting there through logic--All you have to do is search the internet--most places say America will be majority non white in 20 years. Blacks and Hispanics overwhelmingly vote democrat. How could anyone think that doesn't mean full monopolistic democrat control over the US?

It is the only part of the electoral college I disagree with. Many states leave it open for their electoral people to vote any way they wish rather than the consensus of their state.
Therefore: the electoral college, the deciding factor in major elections, is not a representation of the voting people of their state but can be a representation of any of a number of possibilities, to include groups that should not be in control of a major election. Race, religion, employment, city versus the urban areas, or even political theories like socialism , marxism, democracy, and any number of the many offshoots of our system can end up being a deciding factor inconsistent with the voters. Congress should pass a law that says the electoral college should be required to represent their state by voting with the popular vote of their constituents. Then it would make no difference who was the representative selected. Problem solved. And it would force the states to stay within their constituents wishes.
I can’t stop the illegal voting because in many states it is not only ignored by the state, but assisted like in California, Washington state, Michigan, Florida, Illinois, and many other states that have been caught allowing it over the last 100 years. And no one was punished, except a few that actually voted that were thrown under the bus to try to make it look like the people who allowed it were up front. Thousands illegally voted, a couple of hundred across the nation were punished. Sound up front to you? Me neither.

When I took my ASVAB in 1979 I signed a petition being circulated there that called for faster processing of immigration applications. Servicemen who married overseas typically were waiting seven and eight years to be able to bring their spouses and kids to the US legally.
