Poll: Scott Walker trailing Dem challenger by 13 points

Gov. Scott Walker (R-Wis.) is trailing Democratic challenger Tony Evers by 13 points in the upcoming Wisconsin gubernatorial race, according to a new poll released Thursday.

Of the registered voters surveyed in the NBC News/Marist poll, 41 percent backed Walker in the race, compared to the 54 percent who supported Evers.

When asked if Walker deserves to be reelected, 34 percent of the voters agreed with the statement. Sixty-one percent said a new person should be given a chance, and 5 percent were unsure.

Well, he’s been in there for a while, so it’s not shocking that the voters might want a change. That said, I’ve pointed out the Democrats are highly motivated and have flipped nearly 50 seats if you count state and local. Add to that Trump is polling poorly in Wisconsin right now as well as several other swing states. The fall is going to be brutal. Swing voters baffle me to some extent because how can you be for secure borders in one election and open in another (for example)?

Listening to Lou Dobbs...he is talking with his guest about Ryan's lack of leadership effecting the mid elections and it ain't looking good! The base is extremely disappointed with congress 66% disapproval....out of 50 seats to defend the rats have a tremendous opportunity to gain 30 seats..say hello to Nancy!! I really believe Ryan is purposely to lose those seats by being so freakin anti trump, especially since he will not return to Congress!
