Miss Universe from Spain is a dude. No wonder they don’t want a swimsuit competition.
I expect the crossdressers will infiltrate the Miss America contest as well.
Playboy’s muslim appeasement policy failed....
TTIWWP. ;-)
Many men used to read Playboy for the articles, so sure, Miss America can survive without the swimsuit competition.
That being said, having a way to praise the finest aspects of femininity is desirable. Maybe replacing swimsuits with summer exercise outfits and getting candidates that can actually give an intelligent, well-informed answer to a question would help.
And St Patrick's Day Parades were founded as a celebration of Irish heritage and faith.
Both traditions were minding their own business until the left targeted them for destruction - and, in the case of LBGT militants, depravity.
It’s dead Jim...
Yup—stand your ground or perish—the law of the jungle is alive and well.
FWIW, many women used to read Playboy for the articles. Back in the 1960s, I took a very fine Philosophy course at the catholic women’s college I attended. It was called “Patterns of Unbelief”. One of the things on our list of readings was Playboy, used to understand peoples value systems and core beliefs. There were a lot of well-written informative articles in the mag back then.
RORFL....the perfect summer exercise outfit for Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest!
I’m not sure men even watch this anyhow. Seems like it is more a contest by women for women. “I gotta go, the pageant is gonna start” is something I have never heard in conversations among men.

The future of the “Miss America Pageant” is going to be a bunch of flaming, cross dressing fagots trying to out do each other... Much like New York’s fagots day parade... And I don’t think anyone has the stones to stop it from happening....
One Freeper commented on telling feminists that woman can’t even win beauty pageants anymore. Still makes me chuckle.
I remember that excuse, never got that far though.
It’s really about confusing reality with show biz.
Some of these women take themselves and their silly little talent’s believing people really give a $hit about them. They don’t. The audience just want’s to oogle their bods. Some of the women don’t think that and really don’t mind being oogled as long as there is a payday. Those are the smart ones wanting easy money.
Yep. A poem in Playboy by Shel Silverstein hooked me. I cannot recall the name, but it was about a guy in a bar sizing up the women on a scale of 1 to 10. It was really funny!
