President Donald Trump on Wednesday secured concessions from Europe, averting a trade war, Dow Jones reported, citing a European Union official.
The report came shortly before Trump and European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker were scheduled to brief the press at a joint conference in the White House Rose Garden.

Encouraging. Obozo’s tactic would have been to ask which boot of theirs to lick first?
Jean did not look, nor sound, impressed.
MAGA
As the video ends, one can hear the A Hole press launching questions like did you lie about the payments and some crap about Putin.
I really wish he would give the SS the go ahead to clean the slate with their MP-5s.
The stock market was creeping up most of the day, then it shot straight up on that announcement. His advisors need to lock him into the char in the Clockwork Orange movie theater, get those eyelids wide open, and show him the last half hour of trading on a loop.
Glad this part of Trump’s trade war is over — it could’ve easily gotten out of control. Both sides stood back from the brink.
President Trump could have come out and said he has cured cancer and the same commie media would be spewing nonsense about Stormy Daniels..they hate this man SO much NOTHING he does, NOTHING he does will EVER satisfy them
Smell of progressives hair burning, smells like winning.
This news is too good and substantive for the media to spend much time on, I think they will probably continue talking about the Cohen tapes.
You don’t really believe that President Trump would let it get out of control, do you?
Bump! MAGA!
More willing!
And Democrats and Never Trumpers said he was leading us towards a ruinous trade war.
Instead, Trump is seeking to create a fair trade regime for the US and hes getting us there.
Now, that the Art Of The Deal.
OMG he is about to start a thermonuclear war with Europe, which will certainly advance Glowbull Warming!
LOL! Meant winning!
Neil Cavuto and Charlie Gasbagarino are likely having fits, at this moment.
Two obnoxious, NeverTrumpers, if their ever were any.
Soft people (like you?) make problems more likely. If the U.S sticks together there is simply no way to lose this.
Tariffs are a minor problem.
We shouldn’t remove a tool that we might need to fix the big problems, such as EU regulations that target our technology companies.
We need to move away from making “deals”.
History has shown that “deals” that set up hard rules for a decade or more fail the US and its work force.
Any “deal” that 20 or 30 countries can accept is going to be bad for the United States.
We need to move to managed, substantially balanced trade.
US rules would be unilaterally changed as needed, generally effective each January 1st, after public hearings, generally around September.
X NOT tired of WINNING
