Chairman of the Senate Intel Committee Richard Burr (R-NC) said on Tuesday there were sound reasons why the judges issued FISA warrants on Carter Page.
The newly released Carter Page FISA docs, although heavily redacted, reveal the FBI and DOJ relied on Hillarys phony dossier and liberal media reports as evidence presented to the court in order to wiretap Page.
The FBI omitted the fact that the dossier was paid for by Hillary and the DNC.

I really doubt that he is criminal, beyond maybe some use of inside information.
His problem is that he is a “go along to get along” politician.
You will never ever get him to take a stand like Meadows, Nunes, Rand Paul, Cruz, etc.
His idea of campaigning is to go down to Fort Bragg and wave the flag and talk about patriotism, mothers and apple pie.
“...What is wrong with this guy?...”
Nothing. It’s normal for a deep state UniParty hack.
Hey, Burr, why don’t you expound on some of those “sound reasons” so the rest of us can see and hear em? All we hear is crickets? You have no “sound reasons”, azzhole, and you’re just doing the dirty work of deep state/UniParty.
Burr is Deep State and an enemy of our nation.
And he needs a conservative to challenge him, so he can be replaced!
Six ways to Sunday fear factor.
Exactly. This is what I posted yesterday in response to Rubios comment:
Wasnt it Schumer who said you dont want to criticize the intelligence folks because they have six ways to Sunday to get back at you? Rubio obviously has something to hide along with just about every other politician. Of all the crazy stuff that has come out ove the last couple of years one of the most disturbing is a senior senator expressing fear about a government agency.
I wonder who has what goods on him to make him do this.
“Sound reasons” in the form of some large denomination unmarked bills?
But yes, Burr belongs to GOPe.
If Trump had declassified the FISA Document, as the Republicans on the Congressional Intelligence committee had asked, we’d know, but since Trump demurred, the Deep-State and the Left Win Again.
Not according to the FISA warrant there wasn’t.
This was an act of insurrection. Period.
Totally agree and to think I have voted for him several times. A Demonrat would be worse but not by much.
People need to see that many of these RINOs and #nevertrumpers were in deep with the RATs to destroy our POTUS.
I despise them.
Vote to support CWII by keeping Trump in office. Beats what was just around the corner, a blood bath to stop the leftist purge and death camps.
Better a bloodless purge at the top, than the alternative.
Like about 80% of the Senate, his loyalty to the Deep State is much stronger than any loyalty he feels to his stated political party.
Time for a real conservative to take on Richard Burr, and let us vote him out!

Burr is like Sessions. Neither has backbone and both are part of the good ole boy network of the Senate and part of the deep state. As others have said, Burr doesn’t run the committee, Warner does. Burr just wants to get along so he follows Warner. So many Republican senators are part of the deep state and don’t want to rock the boat. Really pathetic and they are the prime reasons the country got in the condition it was in before PT started turning it around despite their efforts to put roadblocks in his way.
Sure there were so long as it was hidden from them that the basis for the warrant was unverified information compiled by the Clinton campaign via Russian sources.
These Never Trump jackasses never cease to amaze.
You are wrong. Why should Trump give fodder to the democRats by injecting himself in congressional investigation, which then allows Mueller to pursue obstruction to justice?
Note, Trump did NOT INITIATE firing Comey. He waited until that firing recommendation came from DOJ. If anything, Trump is a master of timing.
Trump already knows Mueller has nothing on him, so no need to initiate any actions which will be construed as attempt to make Mueller investigation look bad.
It is also possible, since Trump is smarter than me and you, and since he is a master of timing, he could declassify those redacted documents at appropriate time (such as 2-3 weeks before election).
