Add this to the ever growing number of fake/false accusations of racism. Funny how the U.S. media will report that a racist act has occurred, but will not report that the act was fake.
Sometimes young people lie and do stupid things. This little caper to get pity (and maybe a little cash) quickly grew out of his control. He greatly underestimated the gullibility of his liberal pals. The story satisfied a narrative to a T.

I’ll bet his former boss at the restaurant could just strangle that kid. By the time the deception was confirmed, the restaurant had already fallen into the trap, and made complete fools of themselves, by ‘barring’ the accused customer from ever returning.

Khalil CavilIf I were the customer, I'd be telling them to sit and spin, and to be expecting a letter from my attorney in my upcoming lawsuit for slander/libel. Maybe next time, a company will look at the track record for these types of incidents, and do a little more digging, before immediately jumping to a potentially business-killing decision.

I wonder what the customer says about the claim of not leaving a tip. If true, why? Mebbe Khalil pocketed a cash tip and made up the story to avoid reporting it or sharing with other employees.
Sue him and the restaurant for all you can get. Especially after the restaurant told you never to come back.
