'The customer has been contacted and invited back to our restaurant to dine on us. Racism of any form is intolerable, and we will always act swiftly should it occur in any of our establishments. Falsely accusing someone of racism is equaling disturbing.'

If I were the customer, I'd be telling them to sit and spin, and to be expecting a letter from my attorney in my upcoming lawsuit for slander/libel. Maybe next time, a company will look at the track record for these types of incidents, and do a little more digging, before immediately jumping to a potentially business-killing decision.

It looks like the customer was never named. There is no case for libel or slander. However the restaurant needs to give the guy free meals for life.

"...be expecting a letter from my attorney..."

Indeed! Absolutely agree.

This patron might also work for a leftwinger employer who might be in the midst of terminating his employment over this HOAX event. I know for sure it would threaten my job had that happened to me at Khalil Cavil’s hands.

The web on these kinds of false accusations can be tangled and deep. What an unfortunate experience for the innocent patron.
These damages are worth WAY more than a few free meals...as if the patron would ever wish to visit there again.
