Snopes says the foundation is "downsizing", not closing. Still, the tax records suggest behavior that shows the foundation is a sham. Check the "Other Expenses" and "Meetings" entries. You and I would be in jail if we filed this return.

In the summer prior to the election, I noticed that the German government ‘granted’ a donation to the Clinton Foundation....roughly 5-to-6 million. Not a great deal, but this didn’t come from some foundation, or business group....it was an actual government.

AND THIS......with great fanfare the Clintons announced their do-good foundation would hold a gala in March
with tickets priced in the stratosphere. But that ticket-buyers would get "access" to the Clintons.

Those gala-goers paying an extra premium would also get to attend a "special Clinton briefing."

But......hold on.....apparently the Clintons could not attract any buyers.

The event never took place.

Then-NYAG Eric Schneiderman Let Clinton Foundation skip identifying foreign on official documents donors
By Bob Fredericks September 6, 2016 | 9:37pm

State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman gave the Clinton Foundation a pass on identifying foreign donors in its charitable filings — making it impossible to know if it got any special favors while Hillary Clinton was secretary of state, according to a report Tuesday.

Scripps News found that the foundation and its subsidiary, the Clinton Health Access Initiative, took in $225 million in government donations between 2010 and 2014. New York’s charity law clearly states: “Organizations that received a contribution or grant from a government agency during the reporting period shall include the name of each agency from which contributions were received and the amount of each contribution.” But both the foundation and the CHAI failed to do that, and Schneiderman, a member of Clinton’s “leadership council” in New York and a fierce critic of Donald Trump, did nothing about it.

On its website, the Clinton Foundation reveals its foreign donors, but using only broad ranges, such as $5 million to $10 million, without any time frames. The IRS doesn’t require such disclosures. In 2009, Clinton’s first year at the State Department, the foundation disclosed a lump sum of $122 million in foreign-government donations in its New York paperwork, posting the total amount on a form that requires all charities to “list each government contribution separately.”

Clinton spokesman Josh Schwerin said, “This is a ridiculous accusation. The Clinton Foundation goes above and beyond the disclosure requirements by listing every donor on their website and updating the list quarterly.” Schneiderman’s office said, “The Clinton Foundation’s disclosures regarding funding from foreign governments are in compliance with New York law.”

Other charities complied, including the George W. Bush foundation, which reported receiving $5 million from Saudi Arabia and $500,000 from Kuwait.

Hillary and the smirking Eric Schneiderman (right).
E/S was recently ousted from office after charges he spat at,
choked and slapped women he was intimate with.

This isn’t even the end of it. Remember, the “Clinton Global Initiative” was an entirely separate fake charity. That was the one that would host a yearly meeting that businessmen and world leaders had to donate big bucks to get an invite to.

The email dump alluded to some possible malfeasance with employees of the CGI handing out “comped” memberships, which were worth quite a bit of money, when they did an internal audit. Apparently there were no controls set over who exactly could hand out these free memberships, and someone went a little bit wild handing them out as incentives, until the Clintons noticed it was impacting their bottom line. I would be interested to know if everyone who received those free memberships was properly reporting them as income to the IRS too...

Nothing to see here.

Move along.

David "Sucking Hillary's Fahrts" Fahrenthold, who writes for Bezos' Blog (The Washingsnot Pest), already gave the Clinton Foundation a clean bill of health, which passed his INTENSE scrutiny with flying colors.

I concluded some time ago that the Clinton Foundation and all of its affiliated entities are nothing more than a long-armed front for the CIA -- established for the sole purpose of laundering money for foreign escapades outside the oversight of the government offices responsible for these matters (and/or for the sake of establishing plausible deniability for those overseers).

This would explain why the law will never touch them. How do you prosecute CIA operatives under U.S. law for operating with the complicity of the U.S. government?

It took 486 people who are paid $34.8 million and $91.3 million in fees and expenses, to give away $5.1 MILLION

This is not out of line for any large charity actually. United Way, Red Cross, etc. They all collect massive revenue in the form of charitable contributions and distribute pennies on the dollar to the needy. The rest goes into exec's pockets.

The only way they can stay in business (and, it's exactly that, viz. a business) is they count on people ignoring the scam, but who continue to give just to make themselves feel good.

Just for kicks and further enlightenment.

Google “Charles Ortel, Jason Goodman, Clinton Foundation, youtube”

There are about eighty (80) videos outlining the potential crimes and misdeeds at the Clinton Foundation.

...it took 486 people who are paid $34.8 million and $91.3 million in fees and expenses, to give away $5.1 MILLION!

I don't know exactly how they spent the money but the $5.1M to charity number doesn't mean much. It just represents how much the foundation donated to other charities.

The story is that they spent the vast amount of the money doing charitable work directly, but I have no idea how efficiently they did it.
