Why do so many Americans still believe Barack Obama was born in Kenya?
Maybe because he keeps insisting it's so.
He did again last week, while visiting his ancestral homeland of Kogelo.
Participating in the opening of Sauti Kuu Resource Center, a youth facility built by his half-sister, Auma Obama, he said: "Now, three years ago, I visited Kenya as the first sitting American president to come from Kenya. When I was president it was a little bit harder to get up here cause my plane didn't fit the tarmac up here."
"While three years ago my sister Auma introduced me before I gave a speech, today I’m really coming as a brother, as a citizen of the world, as someone with a connection to Africa to talk about the importance of what she's doing but also to create a larger context for what's possible," Obama continued.
So, which is it - native-born son of Kenya, native-born son of Hawaii or native-born citizen of the world?

Native born is not the standard.
Natural born citizen is what the Constitution requires.
Natural born citizens are naturally citizens because they have only one nationality.
The founders rejected “born a citizen” (native born) in favor of the more restrictive Natural born citizen to exclude the children of foreign nationals who are born with multiple nationalities.

I remember when Obama ran for US Senate seat from Illinois. All the news magazines were lauding how great America was because an immigrant “BORN IN KENYA!” could run for such a high office.
When he ran for President, I said...”How can he do that! He was born in Kenya?”

Michael said he’s from Kenya. Grandma said he’s from Kenya. The Kenyan Parliament said he’s from Kenyan. He says he’s from Kenya. There is no US bc to prove he isn’t.
All honest people know that President Obama was born in Kenya and that his Hawaiian birth and birth certificate are a hoax.
I think, but am not 110% sure, that he was born in Kenya. What I know is that if he was born in America, that is a mere technicality, because he grew up abroad, and without an America-loving family.I’d take a naturalized Polish immigrant who loved the country over that, any day.
But you can’t put “love of country" in the Constitution.

He wasn’t born in Kenya. He might have been born in Canada, or Northwest Washington state, but he definitely could not have been born in Kenya.

Three possibilities, and the third makes the most sense.
Stanley Ann Dunham's family was furious when they found out Stanley Ann had gotten pregnant by a black guy, and they sent her to northwest Washington to live with her Aunt Eleanor Birkebeile Dunham, to perhaps have an abortion or to give the child up for adoption. Barack Obama Sr said in a letter that the decision had been made to give him up for adoption, so this has some evidentiary support.
Stanley Ann had the little @$$hole in White Rock Canada, and decided to keep him. That's why she showed up at her Friend's house in Seattle a mere two weeks after he was born, and still not knowing how to change a diaper.
Madelyn Dunham created the Hawaiian paperwork trail after being informed of his birth and the fact that her daughter was going to keep him. Hawaii allows children born to Hawaiian residents to have Hawaiian birth certificates regardless of where the child is born.
Obama could not possibly have been born in Kenya because Barack Sr's University schedule wouldn't have allowed for it, and because Barack Sr was virtually dead broke and couldn't afford to even return himself, let alone take Stanley Ann with him.
