Right you are -though I went elsewhere for fact checking. Depending which liberal source used, she won 487(factcheck) or 503 (TIME “by their count” because they counted districts in Alaska instead of boroughs). So we should re-work this 39 second read with new numbers that will still make Whoopi hysterical. :^)

The problem is they will never get past it as long as any non-Democrat wins. The "National Popular Vote Interstate Compact" movement seeks to nullify the Electoral College, subvert the Constitution and wipe out the power of the states and their voters.

The National Popular Vote Interstate Compact (NPVIC) is an agreement among a group of U.S. states and the District of Columbia to award all their respective electoral votes to whichever presidential candidate wins the overall popular vote in the 50 states and the District of Columbia.

The 30 popular votes Trump won happened to total more than 269 Electoral Votes.

Why is Vox butthurt? I guess they just want to do away with the HOR and Senate too; sorry, a direct democracy is mob rule by fickle toddlers where only their synapses "rule over" them.

I live in the black belt that runs through central Alabama. It has always been democrat. Funny thing is most of the people here are conservative as far as their values. They are just brain washed to vote democrat. They will even vote for a white candidate over a black one if told to.

Can’t change the rules in the middle of the game. Only children try to do that. Oh, and BTW, Trump stated a while back that if the rules had been popular vote wins — in effect no EC — he’d have beaten her anyway. He just would have structured his campaign differently (implying that Hillary screwed up running the campaign that she did).

Well, except for two Repubican electors and five Democrat electors. If I remember correctly, Colin Powell got three, and Bernie Sanders, John Kasich, Ron Paul, and someone named Faith Spotted Eagle got one each. (BTW, the Sanders elector voted for Tulsi Gabbard vor VP. Ugh.)
