On Friday morning, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton suggested that President Donald Trump's Supreme Court nominee, Judge Brett Kavanaugh, would bring back slavery if he is confirmed to the nation's highest court.
"Let me say a word about the nomination of Judge Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court," Clinton told the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) at its national convention. "This nomination holds out the threat of devastating consequences for workers rights, civil rights, LGBT rights, women’s rights — including those to make our own health decisions."
"It is a blatant attempt by this administration to shift the balance of the Court for decades and to reverse decades of progress," the former Democratic presidential nominee declared.
Then came the kicker: "I used to worry that they [the Republicans] wanted to turn the clock back to the 1950s. Now I worry they want to turn it back to the 1850s."
Clinton was clearly suggesting that Trump and Kavanaugh want to return to the days when slavery was legal in the South. The irony is, originalist Supreme Court justices like Kavanaugh would have agreed with Abraham Lincoln against the South, especially on the issue of slavery.
The American Civil War started in 1861, after a tense decade of increasing hostility between Southern Democrats who wanted to extend slavery beyond its boundaries as established by constitutional laws and Northern Republicans who saw slavery as evil and wanted to keep it within those limits. Republican Abraham Lincoln campaigned on restraining the evil institution, but an activist Supreme Court ruled that slavery could extend into the territories.
Ironically, another Republican president wants to restrain another activist Supreme Court, and Democrat Hillary Clinton is scaremongering....

Hillary: the 13th Amendment demonstrates a perfect reason to put a strict constructionist on the Court. Do you really want someone interpreting that Amendment who’s judicial philosophy is based on how they “feel” on any given day?

While the method is flawed, she is rightly trying to claw back low-information blacks her party needs to win. Apparently they are less “low-information” than she thought; they could have delivered MI, WI, and PA to her - and didn’t. Now they have the lowest unemployment ever recorded; they are escaping the plantation, and even more will vote for Trump in 2020.
It's really both, though her derangement is not in making statements like that. Her Heinous knows they're BS, but because most everyone else is going to the 1950s and one of her main rivals, Blood Libelist Joe Biden, has already gone back to the 1850s with his "back in chains" crapola, she has to as well to stay atop the pack. Her derangement, at least one facet, comes from believing that she can keep fooling a majority of the people out there in the places she has nothing but contempt for.
However, it is in her having to run actual races rather than the coronations she had here in the People's Republic of New York when she was installed as junior Senator in 2000 and reinstalled in 2006, that Her Heinous is truly exposed as an inept political hack who has zero clue how to speak to anything but an adoring crowd that cheers every utterance. The President, by contrast, is personable and knows how to speak to anyone he encounters, so he is able to do things like go to that black church in Detroit and simply talk.
Now try to imagine Hillary going to a conservative gathering with the assurance that people will be respectful so she's facing a hostile crowd only on the basis of ideas. (I'm not saying we are hostile, just setting up the premise of the smoothest venue for her on the opposite side.) Even with that assurance, she would still roll in with a lot of the same garbage she says in front of her usual audience, though she would sprinkle in whatever pandering she thinks would work like a lot of God and country music because that's how she and her advisers view the other side. Hillary would not talk to the group as Trump did in the black church because she is fundamentally incapable of relating to people. Those rules about no one being allowed to look directly at her began long before the White House and years of being treated as to-be-feared royalty don't do very much for your people skills.
More likely to help close down some of the plantations the dems run - that’s what really scares them - like with Unions, they need a captive source of votes/income....

That campaign was brilliant - those blacks weren’t giving her a pass on those comments made when she wanted white voters years earlier, and helped sink her. It was very “un-hip” to support Hillary, unless MSNBC or CNN was directly paying you to do so.

This race-baiting is fuel for the current low-profile race war, and it isn’t helping blacks - it is marginalizing them further, and leaving everyone further segregated.
Who can forget the embarrassing spectacle of her speaking in front of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, with the negro cadence, I ain’t no ways tired.

When you don’t have facts or any valid points to make, you fall back on wild exaggerations. It is a sign of the left’s contempt for minorities that they think the minorities will be swayed back into the fold by such idiocies.
Who could she be appealing to? All of the mentally challenged persons of color who might believe this are already voting demorat, if at all. Certainly no one would be swayed who is not already a left nut.

Having read all the comments, I’ve come to the conclusion that everyone agrees, the bitch is crazy! We should all be elated that the pants suit hag wasn’t elected POTUS!
