Rep. Meadows Drops Bombshell: DOJ Had Not Notified Lisa Page of Congress’ Outstanding Interview ..
GATEWAY PUNDIT ^ | 7/13/2018 | Christina Laila

Freedom Caucus Chairman Mark Meadows said on Friday afternoon it appears the DOJ is continuing their efforts to keep material facts and even witnesses from Congress.

Meadows tweeted: Remarkably, we learned new information today suggesting the DOJ had not notified Lisa Page of Congress’ outstanding interview requests for over 7 months now. The DOJ/FBI appear to be continuing their efforts to keep material facts, and perhaps even witnesses, from Congress.

Perhaps Trump is just giving them enough rope?

Seems to me there’s a lot that’s been pretty clearly reveled to anyone that bothers to look and admit.

Rep. Meadows Drops Bombshell

Every day it's some new outrage with the DOJ and FBI. Every frikken day.

At some point, any reasoning person has to ask themselves, 'What is the President waiting for?'

I've thought for months now, that Trump has got to have some very sound tactical or strategic reasons for holding back, and for letting this nightmare comedy continue as it has. I've puzzled over it from lots of angles, and have entertained several different theories and explanations, as to what his game plan is.....but damn!

How much longer can the pressure cooker hold? Seems to me, the pot is ready to jump off the stove, or explode.

Maybe that's the plan in its entirety. Perhaps it's his intention to let this get so out of control, that it forces the entire nation to come to grips with the enormity of these historic scandals, and to personally get involved in draining the swamp.

I just don't know what to make of this state of affairs anymore.

The rest deserve a bad name if they don't start arresting the 5%.

You mean the 95%.

Trump doesn’t need to fire anybody.

Trump is the Chief Executive Officer of the Department of Justice.

He could have declassified and released every document a year ago.

Instead, he does nothing.

40% of likely voters support impeachment.

And Trump does nothing.

I have been thinking the same thing! I also believe if Congress impeaches Rosenstein, it opens the door for Sessions to be fired and the whole DOJ changes leaders. I would love to see Judge Jeanine (Fox News) as AG, and who should replace Rosenstein?? At first, I thought Rudy G., but have changed my mind! Suggestions?

“suggesting the DOJ had not notified Lisa Page of Congress’ outstanding interview requests for over 7 months now.”

Why would notification be the responsibility of the DOJ? She hasn’t been employed there for a few months. I would think Congress would be smart enough to notify her, or her attorney, directly. (Congress. Smart enough. I could be wrong.)

“No more blaming Session, Trump needs to get his house together.”

Right. Since Day One, FBI, DOJ, CIA, etc., have been arms of the Demrat Party, and openly adversarial to their ultimate supervisor. WHY does Trump let it continue? It’s not right. It’s not like him to put up with it. If we had loyal Americans in those departments, imagine where we’d be now. I would be wonderful.

“who should replace Rosenstein?”

Joe diGenova? Gregg Jarrett? Ron DeSantis (former JAG, I think)?

Isn’t DeSantis running for Gov of Florida? My friend in FL is excited about him as Gov, if same DeSantis.

I want Jim Jordan as SPEAKER. I will research other two voting record, thanks.

“Isn’t DeSantis running for Gov of Florida?”

He definitely is; my family and friends in FL are excited about it. But that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t be great in the AG office — if he’d take it (which he probably wouldn’t).

You articulate my...and I’m sure millions of others...frustrations and reservations about this play we see unfolding before us. There is no spoiler so we don’t know how it will end. Rather concerned with this situation.

Here’s the excuses I think of...

1) something really did happen and trump can’t act because it will make it look even worse.

2) he believes politically this helps him more than hurts him so he lets it continue

3) the deep state has him neutralized because he thinks they will go after him if he stops this investigation and politically it will cost him.

Maybe giving them enough rope to hang themselves on easier-to-prove-without-compromising-intel charges.
