FBI official Peter Strzok testified defiantly on Thursday that he was not biased while investigating 2016 election candidates, but said at the same time that he disapproved of then-candidate Donald Trump's "horrible, disgusting behavior."
Strzok won applause from Democrats during a joint hearing of the House oversight and judiciary committees after offering an explanation for an August 2016 text message to then-FBI attorney Lisa Page that "we'll stop" Trump from being president.
"I think its important when you look at those texts that you understand the context in which they were made and the things that were going on across America," Strzok testified.

I was just thinking...with a timeline of his Trump-hating, personal texting (let’s say 20 texts in an 8 hour day), how does he go back and forth so often and so allegedly easily between biased texting and his non-biased investigative job. How does that work?
And how does he explain how much time of his work day he spends on personal texting...must be a couple three hours a day he is getting paid to not be working?

First he said he didn’t remember writing the text. An hour later he said it was written late at night and he was angry about the Gold Star family thing.
One of the other Dems said it wasn't political. He was just saying that to get the woman to put out.

Sedition - conduct or speech inciting people to rebel against the authority of a state or monarch.
To me, treason seems to be more the crime this prick committed, since he was engaging in removing a President by means beyond the legal methods. I do not remember hearing him make public calls to incite anyone to perform that task. But then I'm sure the caller to Ken Matthews knows more than I.
The context is that about half of Americans found nothing wrong about Trump’s behavior. Therefore, there was nothing wrong.
The Republicans are playing to their base and the Democrats are playing to their own.

Federal law enforcement agents are given an automatic 25% overtime bump to their pay, known as “administratively uncontrollable overtime” or AUO, to compensate for the flexible hours they’re required to work. They can’t just clock out at 5 if they just arrested someone and still have to complete the interrogation and booking process, so the thinking goes.
That said, it may also be that those in HQ positions are not eligible for the AUO because the nature of their work isn’t the same as street work. It would be educational to know what strzok received in his check.
