Tedra Cobb, the Democratic candidate in New York's 21st Congressional District, told a group of teenage supporters that she supports a ban on certain firearms but won't say so publicly for fear of losing her election.
"When I was at this thing today, it was the first table I was at, a woman said, ‘How do you feel about assault rifles?' And I said they should be banned," Cobb can be heard saying in the video recorded by one of the attendees. "And I said, you know, people were getting up to go, to go get their lunch because it was a buffet, and I just said to her, I want you to know Cindy, I cannot say that."

I own an assault car. It’s just a first generation Scion xB, but it nailed a pedestrian pretty good a while back.
I was sitting behind the wheel, minding my own business when it happened. It was like a raging bull! I couldn’t stop it. I think that’s why they axed the brand.
Democrats are smart this way. They’re allowed to keep quiet about their controversial positions on social issues until after they’re elected.

There will always be a boundary, I don’t think the second amendment gives citizens the right to own a nuclear weapon for example.

THAT’s nothing new. The left can not ever tell the unadulterated truth about their goals and agenda. Even at such an insignificant place as the DUmp, they’re always talking about how they have to temper, or hide, their complete message until they can find a way to just force it (like they did with sodomite mirage, deriding the “slippery slope” the whole while).
They know that if enough of America was paying attention and understood how to parse what they say, they wouldn’t stand a chance.

Yes ... in complete and flagrant violation of the Constitution. The congressthings who voted for that legislative abomination should be tarred, feathered, and thrown in the Anacostia. If they're dead, their bodies should be exhumed and committed to the garbage dump; their gravestones shattered into gravel.
And if the democratic process isn’t going their way fast enough to suit them, they find a friendly court and just shove things through (see three separate proposition votes in CA opposing sodomite mirage, when the sodomite lobby got impatient with the will of the voters and just went over their heads to the court).
