Nationally syndicated radio talk show host, TV host, author and American lawyer Mark Levin (Screenshot) On his nationally syndicated radio talk show Monday, host Mark Levin expressed alarm at the forcefulness with which some had pushed for Brett Kavanaughs nomination to the U.S. Supreme Court
[cut]
Below is a transcript of Mark Levins remarks on his show Monday:
Then we get to Kavanaugh. I have never seen a campaign for a Supreme Court justice to be nominated as aggressive, as nasty, as ruthless, and as dishonest as the campaign behind Kavanaugh. Thats not to say he wouldnt make a good justice, but there are questions.
And should he be the nominee because apparently, hes the leading candidate, I dont know firsthand should he be the nominee, and hes in front of that committee, we constitutional conservatives, that is, we constitutionalists, we want conservatives like Mike Lee and Ted Cruz to ask some questions to satisfy our concerns, particularly on Obamacare, particularly on abortion, particularly on immigration.
I dont need to hear his views on Chevron and the administrative state. We know theyre good. Theyre very good. But I need to know if hes a constitutionalist. All of them, all of them.

Bork was nasty so was Clarence Thomas.
Would a Constitutionalist ask a nominee their opinion on issues
instead of Constitutional and legal principles?
levin hated Trump. Remember? Mark is often wrong. Brave but dead wrong.
Levin, Lee, and Lyn’ Ted. Some butt hurt going on there. Where’s Beck?
I need to see some examples...
Meh
Kevin is a Mike Lee fan boy

Exactly.
What is he even talking about???
From the excerpt, this appears to be about the effort to get Trump to name Kavanaugh. I am lukewarm at best about this nomination. I fear he's designed to do the exact job as the man he's replacing.
Was Levin AWAKE or among the living during Bork, or even better Clarence Thomas????
Link says: “Page Not Found”.
For them, it's all about having RINOs resist Trump and show him he doesn't really call the shots.
JMHo
Here is a scale showing where Kavanaugh ranks, compared to the other SC Justices.....Conservatives (top) to Libs (bottom)....
Kav is just below Thomas, who ranks top/most conservative.
Levin is talking about the effort to get him nominated, not confirmed. Two different worlds.
Here’s the link to that ranking diagram. ....
Hi TGKC!
Levin worked in the administration of President Ronald Reagan and was a chief of staff for Attorney General Edwin Meese.
Edwin Meese was at the announcement speech, last night. POTUS honored him, and Meese (barely) stood up.
My trepidation is based on many of his own comments about (paraphrasing) "growing as a judge and learning in the role" which seems to always presage a shift to the left. His praise of Kagan and Kennedy and his bragging about having a majority of female staffers also gives pause.
We'll know if my concerns are unfounded in a year or two I guess.
WTF is Levin talking about?
Trump got a lot of input and then made a decision ... So, when, where, and how did all of this aggression, nastiness, ruthlessness and dishonesty take place, Mark? ... were you somehow privy to all that happened in the oval office because you were hiding in the knee-hole of Resolute?
(To summarize: whata maroon ...)
Yep, it was such a nasty, aggressive, ruthless, and dishonest campaign, I never even noticed it.
That Kavanaugh, he sure knows how to do all that in stealth mode.
Gotta wonder how effective that would be.
One would almost think Trump did this on his own, but now Mark has assured us he was unfairly and irresistibly hoodwinked.
That Trump. Hes so stupid! /s
Mark, for heavens sake, get a grip.
This couldnt possibly be as unhinged as your 2016 remarks about Trump, but you sure appear to be trying.
Yep. Time will tell.
In the meantime....I trust Trump.
Kav was/is described as a Judge’s judge.
And, Jay Sekelow said that POTUS nominated someone who UNDERSTANDS THE ROLE OF A JUDGE...knows him professionally, and personally and is very pleased and optimistic of this choice.
