Shutting down a highway should be a crime if it isn't already; and anyone involved should face real prison time.
The belief that this sort of action is protected by the First Amendment is absurd. Protestors do not have a right to force people to listen to them.

It wasn’t about guns or crime - it was about how much more Federal $$ can be pumped into worthless projects that do nothing for the community except put money into the wallets of J Jackson Jr. and his white counterpart Father Faker. These two were behind Midnight Basketball that cost the taxpayer big $ bucks with no results.
Father Faker refuses to answer questions on where all of the tax funds went that were paid to the Midnight Basketball program. As usual, follow the money.
That crime should earn each of those protesters at least a year in jail or prison but this being Chicago; they will probably be given a parade.

However, George decided that trying to stop Sharpton from coming "would be a futile gesture and a waste of effort"

Doesn’t Chicago have the most restrictive gun laws of any city in the country already?
If that’s the case, how can MORE gun laws stop the violent deaths if the ones already in place don’t?
People who don’t listen to the already existing laws are NOT going to listen to MORE laws.
Not to mention that blocking traffic and stranding people on a 4 lane interstate is NOT the way to win people over to your side. All it’s going to do is REALLY, REALLY tick off a whole lot of people.
