Sen. Patty Murray (D-Wash.) detailed how Democrats can push Republican Senators to oppose President Trump's "extreme" and "ideological" yet to be named Supreme Court Associate Justice nominee in the weekly Democratic weekly address.
Murray said those who would like to go back to the days "when women had to seek out back-alley abortions" want you to feel "powerless." She asked listeners to tell people who aren't "fired up yet" to please "tweet, post, march, call, and write" your elected officials.

Short-bus Patty has decided that Trump’s nomination, whoever it turns out to be, will pass the worst threat that ever didn’t exist in the court system but may sometime later, to a fictitious “freedom” to infanticide that was created out of whole cloth. The eastern part is a desert, conservative, Republican and has a large Mormon contingent.
The western part is a rain forest, liberal, Democratic and largely atheist.
The western part contains only one third of the land but two thirds of the people, which is why it determines the outcome of statewide elections.
If you held a referendum in western Washington about that portion of the state leaving the US to be annexed into the Canadian province of British Columbia, I would estimate that it would win with roughly 60% of the vote.
Women did not have to get abortions in back alleys.
They could have, instead, refrained from murdering the babies.
There is no right, natural or Constitutional, for women to murder babies.
The same set of facts applies to Oregon.
