I figure Trump will do his best to appoint a man/woman that conforms to his vision of the Constitution and how much respect it deserves as future decisions are made.

I don’t care for Lee at all. He disqualified himself in 2016. Thus my lampooning 2020 campaign signs “McMuffin / Lee” showing up on the forum.

I predict a surprise. It would certainly be like Trump to let the Democrats trash a group of prospective nominees only to select someone nobody’s expecting then they have to start digging all iver again.

Any of the four would be a great SC Justice, but the biggest fight will rage around Barrett, probably because the Godless Commies fear her the most and she would be the nominee most likely to cause Collins or Murkowski to bail.

Hardiman’s wife Lori Hardiman (née Zappala), is an attorney and real estate professional. The Zappala family, which includes Stephen Zappala and Stephen Zappala Sr., are prominent Democrats.

This makes him a NO for me.

So where is this final list? PDJT has not tweeted it...is there some smoke signals or MSM announcement on the finalists?

I love how articles with no sources of their info just appear to be such authorities.

An “analyst” who leads of his “analysis” of potential Supreme Court Justices with commentary about their “fan bases”?

Really?

Which high school does David Lat think these people are to be judging, and is this writer a senior or just a junior? Is he perhaps on the prom committee?

Given his level of analysis, those are by far the two most important questions to ask.

Hardiman is unabashedly pro-2A, which makes him staunchly originalist. He is #1 in my book because of that.

This is in spite if the politics of his wife’s family...which, to me, is an utter irrelevancy. My wife’s family is fairly liberal, and every time I see or speak with them it reinforces my views. They would like to have no influence over my politics, vs. the effect that they have.
