Or does he give the base what they want hoping to energize them to come out and vote. OK, this sets up another problem for Democrats. If Amy has 7 kids; 2 are adopted from Haiti - highly likely they are not Caucasians - and one is a special needs child, will they keep harping on her 7 kids? Seems to me they will sound heartless if they do.
