WASHINGTON—President Donald Trump headed into the weekend still undecided about whom he will pick for the Supreme Court, but people familiar with the process said they believe he is moving toward selecting Judge Brett Kavanaugh ahead of a Monday announcement. Mr. Trump was to discuss the pick Friday night at dinner with Vice President Mike Pence, who personally met this week with Judges Kavanaugh, Amy Coney Barrett and Raymond Kethledge.

1. Unless they’re mind readers or he told them so (which he wouldn’t), how would anyone know Trump is “undecided”? He certainly didn’t sound “undecided” at last night’s rally.
2. And yet, “people familiar with the process” claim to have some kind of second sight about who he’s going to pick based on .... um, what exactly? Oh, yeah, familiarity with “the process.” Which means absolutely NOTHING insofar as Donald Trump is concerned.
Only President Trump himself knows who will be picked.
I would be somewhat disappointed with Kavanaugh as I believe we could do better...however, we could also do a lot worse as well.

Trump - and the WH, to their credit, have been very transparent in this process.
Kavanaugh’s wife was Bush’s personal secretary. He covered up the Vince Foster homicide. He was close buddies with Karl Rove and also served as counsel to Bush.
He’s BUSH for all practical purposes.

I don’t think it will be Amy Coney Barrett....this time...(I think Trump is saving her for when Ruth Bader Ginsburg kicks the bucket). Although she would be a great Justice, the democrats are already attacking her for being inexperienced, as she has only been on the federal courts for a few months and most of her experience was in academia before then.
After such a long buildup, by the time Donald Trump finally pulls his rabbit out of the hat on Monday night, half the Conservatives will be disappointed with his choice.
Then the media will go into overdrive bashing the candidate 24/7 for weeks.
Which means the candidate must have a very winning personality in order to make the confirmation process a success.
Have Trump and his advisors taken that into account? Probably not.
Gorsuch was nominated to the appeals court by a Bush.
Clarence Thomas was nominated to the Supreme Court by a Bush.
Why would you think that?
If there is one thing Kavanaugh is, it's articulate.
