CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Charlotte City Councilman Braxton Winston posted a video on Facebook Monday asking citizens to weigh in on the possibility of the Republican National Convention coming to the Queen City in 2020.
As of Monday, Charlotte and Las Vegas were the final two cities in the running to host the 2020 RNC. In his Facebook post, Winston says it is "all but guaranteed that Charlotte will be selected" to host the event.
**SNIP**
"We would be asking the people of Charlotte to host a celebration for a brand of politics that has been highly divisive and some would say dangerous to our community," Winston wrote. "The people of Charlotte deserve to be engaged by their leaders as we consider this decision. To this point I don't think we have done a good enough job with that engagement. I hope this video will be a call that our community members answer."

Winston said there are "many reasons he has heard from his constituents about why we should not have the Republican National Convention in this city."
Isn't that just a bit bigoted?

North Carolina will have to check with the restroom committee first.

The mayor obviously doesn’t want the convention. He just wants the citizens to take the rap. You can guess which citizens will be most vocal....

Hypothetical: A Republican gets elected this November to the California Governorship. It should then be held in Sacramento. Bingo

Dumbass Braxton Winston, contact the people in Cleveland, which hosted the 2016 RNC. There was no problem with the people of the Republican party. The problems were from the leftist democrats and fascists that tried to cause trouble.
The City of Cleveland police department planned well and sought help from police departments around the country. If you recall, Dumbass Braxton Winston, the convention turned out very well and the people of Cleveland were not endangered by the presence of Donald Trump and the Republican Party.
I would like to say, screw you, you bigot, and let Vegas have the honor of hosting the 2020 RNC. You can watch it on TV as President Trump will be re-nominated so he can continue helping black Americans reach economic levels never seen before. This is something you will never be able to do, since you are a racist who wants to keep black people as slaves of the leftist democratic party.

For the best optics of deranged liberals rioting the RNC should be held in San Francisco, Portland or Seattle.

Was not long ago when NC was a conservative state, and then the north east liberals moved in and are ruining it.

As opposed to the unifying politics of the godless Democrat-Communist-Fascist terrorist totalitarian party.
