Im sure he had family who loved him and will miss him. I count myself fortunate that Im not one of them.
All right!! I love this........I’ll have to remember to say this when someone dies that I don’t give a crap about and ain’t one bit sorry they kicked the bucket.

The backstory on Ed is that he immitated Rush Limbaugh to a T on his Fargo radio program. Then was enticed to swing liberal by big money senators in North and South Dakota....Daschle and Dorgan. So did he actually have any deeply held principles and beliefs, or did he just follow the money??

I can’t tell if Savage was ever a lefist- I think that he has always been an eccentric collection of positions and he glories in not belonging to any definable group. But it’s been years since I’ve heard him. I agree that his persona is his number one asset.

I could believe that, I’ve watched a few episodes of Ed’s show on RT as of late, and he seemed to be more conservative and fair to Trump. He didn’t sound as much as a raving lunatic like he did on MSNBC and his radio show, I was shocked. I think he might have went back to his roots.

Ed Schultz, one of the best-known and most well-respected progressive commentators in America..."No wonder I couldn't recall him and had to look up his image even to see who they are talking about.
"Well-respected" just doesn't belong in front of "progressive."
That said, condolences to those who loved him.

Ive had a gut feeling this year that Satan is going to claim someone big on the Left, probably before the election. I dont think Schultz qualifies. Im thinking more along the lines of Max Maxine stoking out or San Fran Nan buying it from a botox overdose.Won't Juan McCain do?

Then it looks like we're both right! :-)

said that Ed Schultz never really was on the left, he was just playing a role True enough. Started out calling college hockey games, had a run at a noisy conservative show, switched to lefty, then got picked up by MSNBS, as their truck-drivin', gun-totin' common man.
Used to buy my vehicles from a relative of his, who said Ed admitted it was all bullshit. He got paid tons, though, while it lasted.
His place on Detroit Lakes is supposed to be grand...
