A Texas mother has been arrested for allegedly selling her young children.
Esmeralda Garza, 29, was arrested by Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) officials on Friday after she allegedly sold her 7-year-old boy to two men, KRIS-TV reported. Garza was also in the process of selling two other children – a 2-year-old girl and a 3-year-old girl – as well, officials said.
The arrest occurred after DPS officers executed a drug search warrant, according to KIII-TV.
Garza, of Corpus Christi, was charged with the sale or purchase of a child, which is a third-degree felony. She is being held on a $100,000 bond at the Nueces County Jail, KRIS reported.

I’ll probably get flamed, but I am betting the woman is Mexican. I say that because child trafficking and sex with children is part of Mexican culture, and has been for ages. I remember a guy in California — an illegal — actually used that excuse when he was arrested for having sex with a 10-year old girl. He was surprised he was arrested, and said that what he did was just part of his native culture.

Sec. 12.34. THIRD DEGREE FELONY PUNISHMENT. (a) An individual adjudged guilty of a felony of the third degree shall be punished by imprisonment in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for any term of not more than 10 years or less than 2 years.
So, with good behavior, she could serve 1 year. That’s just wrong!
The "skin color" was a reference to having tattoos and a play on MLK. How in Hades you get an accusation of racism outta that is "curious".

While everyone is entitled to their opinion, I think this woman (and many others like her) who have had a double mastectomy and used tattoos in a beautiful and feminine way might disagree with you....
