Can you imagine the lefts reaction if a Republican attacked a Dem judicial nominee for being too Muslim? The cries of religious bigotry, and the citation of the Constitutions prohibition of religious tests for office, would reverberate through the liberal/MSM world.
But on MNSBC this evening, Zerlina Maxwell, SiriusXMs head of Progressive Programming, didnt hesitate to attack possible SCOTUS pick Amy Coney Barrett for being very Catholic and having gone to Notre Dame.

Keep attacking people for being too Catholic, and see where that gets you, liberals.
Ping to Liberal Media Criticism list.
I guessing “very Muslim” is no problem for “progressive” radio.
Proposed 2018 Dem platform:
Abolish ICE
We hate Catholics
I say pick the most polarizing. More fun that way.
Would ‘Too Jew’ be acceptable?
So what? What is the problem with Catholics? Scalia, Thomas, Roberts...
“....but no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States.”
Director of Progressive Programming?
what a freaking farce, that a corporation has such a position!!!!!
creepers!
She’s very ignorant.
“Would Too Jew be acceptable?”
On MSNBC is would be.
So sick of the double standards.
Their bigotry and hypocrisy needs to be met head on EVERY SINGLE time they do it.
Silence and ‘taking the high road’ emboldens them further; guaranteeing it will happen again and again.
It’s like saying, “She’s very Christian.”
Either you are a Christian or you aren’t.
I think Maxwell tipped hand.
Jesus has no place in her life.
Leave it to MSNBC to air this type of stuff.
It’s really out of line.
The demonizaton of Christians continues. This is a First, Fourth and probably others too, violation of the U. S. Constitution.
If we had an Attorney General, this woman would be in trouble.
Things would just fine if she were “very Muslim”?
Well, she joins a number of FReepers who ILLOGICALLY think that being Catholic makes her unacceptable. Some of those also say that her being a woman makes her unacceptable. Bizarre!
Figures. Too Catholic. Too Jewish. Too Methodist. Too American.
While some Christians criticize Roman Catholicism as “works based” and following “non-Biblical traditions”, it seems to be good training for being a Supreme Court Justice. You want a person who works at following the “rules” and keeping “traditions”.
This should be a RNC campaign commercial tomorrow morning
First it was republicans, then stay at home moms, then those who Cling to their bibles and guns, they it was blue collar workers, and women who chose to be republicans. Now it’s Catholics. Who will it be next?
