Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is being hailed as the new face of the Democratic party after vanquishing Queens party boss Joe Crowley in Tuesday’s primary, but one former co-worker isn’t jumping on her bandwagon.
Most of the staff at Flats Fix, the East 16th Street taco and tequila bar, say nice things about Sandy, as they knew her for the four years she worked there, until she quit six months ago to run for Congress.
But one waitress has a bad memory of working with Ocasio-Cortez, 28, as Ocasio-Cortez tended bar during the very busy Cinco de Mayo celebration in 2017.
At the end of the night, when it came time to split the $560 in tips she had gotten at the bar, Ocasio-Cortez gave the waitress only $50. After the waitress complained to her manager, her take was doubled to $100, a source said.
“It says so much about her character,” said my source. “From that point on, I wouldn’t talk to her. I couldn’t look at her.”
Ocasio-Cortez couldn’t be reached for comment.

Even more, she had an anti-Semitic campaign volunteer. Of course she disavows even knowing him, but that would never wash as a defense if she’d been a conservative or a Republican. She’d be getting hammered around the clock, in that case, because “she should have known”. It’s not like “greedy Jewish landlords” wasn’t all over his FB page.
Bernie Sanders was caught regularly stealing his neighbor’s newspaper last year.
I have worked in that situation.... At the very least she missed off a co-worker ...
This is typical Democrat behavior... Had one for a business partner, they do steal.
Tip sharing I have seen at my coffee stops and the local oriental take-out as is even distribution to the wait staff and the kitchen staff in Chopstix and at the diners it is just divvying up the tips among the waits.
Redistribution.
Stealing tips is the essence of Socialism.

I learned this lesson when I was 5 or 6 pouring Koolaid into two glasses for my friend and I.
Perfectly even every time.
Still do it to this day, only its shots and mixed drinks now. ;)
She’ll be stealing a hell of a lot more than tip money soon.
She wasn’t stealing, she was entitled to those tips to ensure they were properly used for the good of da pipple.
She’s definitely Democrat material - just sayin ...

It’s what democrats are wired to do...take other peoples’ stuff.
It looks like the Democrat KNIVES are coming out for her. I can PROMISE you that the very last thing the Democrats wanted was to her to be the poster boy for the party, but she is just that!
So now it’s time to take her down a few notches, and soon they’ll be making up crap about her, if needed.
When it comes to pouring or cutting cake for two the rule is whoever doesn’t do the cutting or pouring gets first pick of the results. You would be amazed at how accurately the dividing can be under those circumstances.
