If Nancy Pelosi had been even a mediocre Speaker of the House let alone a great one, the Democrats would not have lost the House by a spectacular margin to the Republicans in 2010 and then allowed them to keep their majority for eight years.
Now, as Nancy tries to create a Blue Wave that will propel her back to the Speakership, her main contributions to the Democrats have been to divide them, make enemies of the Congressional Black Caucus, and fail to maintain her cosmetic procedures so that she can present herself as the face of the Democratic Party without scaring everyone.
If, and when, the House returns to democrats, certainly NOT in November, Pelosi will either be gumming applesauce and wearing a bib, or be six feet under. But, ok. If that’s what democrats want for Speaker.
