Bill Maher began by asking Moore about the “Hail Mary” plan he supposedly had to prevent the replacement of Justice Anthony Kennedy.
“Listen, the Senate right now is 50-49. Sadly, McCain will not be able to vote, so it’s a 50-49 vote,” Moore declared. “C’mon! We’ve got to push it off til after November.”
“And I don’t trust every Democrat,” Maher told Moore.
“I’ll join a million other people surrounding the United States Capitol,” Moore responded. “I will stand there. I will put my- Bill, let me tell you something. If this judge goes through, for at least the rest of our lives, it’s a right wing court. That’s it. It’s over.”

It would not surprise me if Thomas retires in Trump’s first term - I think he wants to retire and he would want a conservative replacement.
Based on decent source reporting - both Ginsburg and Soto (what was Obama thinking?) are in very poor health so it is not out of the realm of reason that both of them leave - especially if Trump gets a second term.
If Trump gets a second term I could see Alito retiring.
Trump should get at least 4 picks and possibly 5 - that would be pretty incredible by any measure and they would refer to it as the Trump court.
Moore knows that by organizing such a stunt, it draws in financial support to run the protest. Millions flow in from Lefty wealthy benefactors. Moore siphons much of it for himself for his own luxurious, self-indulgent, lifestyle. I wonder if such money is taxable?

It would be fantastic if Thomas announced his retirement as soon as this new Justice is confirmed.
