Fired manager Darin Hodge said the issue erupted when he asked a customer to take off their MAGA hat. In an emailed statement, he said he would do it again.
“I stand by my decision to ask the patron to remove his hat. The MAGA hat has come to symbolize racism, bigotry, islamaphobia [sic], misogyny, white supremacy, homophobia. As a person with a strong moral backbone, I had to take a stand against this guest’s choice of headwear while in my former place of work,” he wrote.
Eva Gates, Vice president of Human Resources for the Sequoia Group of Restaurants — which owns the Teahouse — agreed with how the incident began, but said it amounted to a refusal of service.
The MAGA hat has come to symbolize racism, bigotry, islamaphobia [sic], misogyny, white supremacy, homophobia.
And it’s opponents have come to symbolize STUPID and FAILURE !

I guess the Confederate flag is not the only iconic American symbol to catch the ire of liberals.
I’m glad the symbolism of the hat led to the firing of a piece of crap. Everything in this country is a symbol now. Nothing is just what it is. The left is obviously disturbed by symbols, and wants to eliminate those that disagree with its goals.
I wish leftists a life of disappointment, despair, and nihilistic emptiness.
I was listening to a friend talk to his junior high science teacher. The teacher was in his eighties. He said he’d gone to visit the school, and commented on how many men wore their caps indoors. I think he’d have stroked out if he found out about illegitimacy rate of the kids.
I have a friend in Canada from Vancouver and during the recession he was pink-slipped and never really got back on his feet again. So I’m thinking when you lose a job up in Canada, perhaps it’s still the case, it’s not that easy to find work especially in a town that is very populated and has a large number of job seekers to add to the frustration of a job search.
