Wednesday’s retirement announcement of Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy sparked strong reactions from both right and left, but the takes from so-called #NeverTrumpers, or ideological conservatives who opposed President Trump in 2016, ranged from “crickets” to eating some much-deserved crow.

Trump is striving to insert judges that adhere to the constitutional norms of history. Democrats have and will continue to try to appoint communist who ignore the constitution like Kagan. sotomyor, and ruth buzzy. All are traitors to this country and should be impeached. While Trump may make a rare mistake he will adhere to that principle on the selection of at least 4 more scotus judges to save this coutry and its constitution for a half century or more. With each pick the communists will be more and more marginalized and extinguished.
We know the leftist media are both true bleivers and bought off, often manipulated by the likes of the CIA.
But the Never Trump supposed conservative media? They’ve been exposed as fakers, so they can’t be true believers other than their being bought off. Likely just as much by the likes of the CIA as the left is.
Indeed, so much of the ‘conservative media” is of the nonprofit, money-losing variety that they are likely bought off with smallish donations to their foundations, etc., too.

Yeah, like they didn’t know Kennedy was retiring and Ruthie is practically on death’s door, not to mention replacing Scalia, giving Hillary the power to shape the SC for a generation to come, really even beyond, sending the country on a permanent downward trajectory that we could never have come back from. The country would have become a socialist paradise before the end of her second term. They already have Roberts.

At least a few of them have the common sense and the humility to admit that they were wrong about Trump. You will know that we have finally won this argument with the Never Trumpers when George Will publicly eats a pie made from crows.
WRT the Never Trumpers, I can understand their opposition during the primaries, up to the point when Trump was the obvious nominee. Once we reached that point, which was sometime in March or early April of 2016, logic would have dictated that they restrict their animus toward him to private conversations. Why? Simply because there are only two parties that can win a presidential election in this country, and to have opposed the Republican nominee is to have supported the Democrat nominee, and we know all about what a joy it would have been to live with that witch in the White House. It is on that single point of logic and common sense that I cannot tolerate the Never Trumpers. I will, of course, gladly welcome them back into the fold...but I will never fully trust them, because they utterly failed on an issue of absolutely critical importance.
