Last October, an anonymous user, known simply as Q, started posting cryptic messages on the controversial message board 4chan—the common theme being that President Trump is a secret genius and his opponents, namely Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, are evil. Q reportedly claimed to be getting this information directly from the government, thanks to tops-secret, “Q-type” security clearance. There has been little—if any—hard evidence to support Q’s musings. But over time, thousands of people started to believe them—or at least, to acknowledge they might be real. And they became the foundation of a wide-ranging conspiracy theory, known as QAnon, that has been covered by the New York Times and New York Magazine, among others, and discussed in more than 130,000 videos on YouTube. One of its most prominent followers: Roseanne Barr, who tweeted several references to QAnon before being fired from her hit TV show in May. —Melissa Chan

Haven’t followed it, so I don’t have much of an opinion, but the intuition I get about Q is sorta like that feeling you get with psychics who always offer very vague, ranging observations and even more vague,general predictions. The best one’s are very skilled and intelligent and know how to get a wow, but never dish the real red meat of specifics

Outside of the president ( and Drudge) that has to be a list of candidates for the Mr. Nobody award. Have no influence - have never heard of most of them. It’s no wonder Time magazine is so long gone from the scene. Hey, they could put themselves on their list. Ha!
I call it a HOAX, which it is; one that has fooled people who yearn to feel "special", belong, and be some kind of an "insider".
Q uses the same kinds of ruse that crystal ball, card readers, and yes, phony "psychics" have used for centuries. About 100 years ago, Harry Houdini exposed not only the frauds, but the methods they used.
