The truth is Hillary was afraid of Cruz and Rubio. She wanted Trump as her opponent because she "knew" that no real conservative would vote for a twice-divorced womanizer.

The coverage that Trump got was very tame compared to now and it ended up being worth millions of dollars for the exposure he got.

There were a lot of stories the LSM could have run but they didn't. NBC bought a fierce British expose that I thought they would use at some point, but they never did. Why not? Because, they were instructed to "damage, but not too much."

My point is Hillary wanted a sure fire win for herself and she thought that Trump would deliver her the presidency. All she had to do was get him to the point where he would be the winner of all the primaries.

This should make both of you very happy as it does me because Trump winning increased the frustration for the LSM a hundred-fold. They did their job to deliver Trump through the primaries only to have sold him TOO WELL in the end.

Years ago, when Pat Buchanan was running for president, I heard a big news reporter say, "I like Pat, I really do, but we are going to have to take him down." And, they did.

The LSM did not go full bore on Trump, yeah they got a little mean, but they were not going to hurt his chances of being Hillary's preferred opponent.

So what did Trump do? He won when he wasn't supposed to and it proved that she is not the brightest bulb on the chandelier. Trump is.

Now they are bellyaching to beat the band. And, it pleases me greatly.

No, Jeb was the designated Republican opponent - agreed to by both sides - well before the campaign kicked off.

His job was to gracefully lose to Hillary - the historic first woman president in our history.

Trump was never factored into the Uniparty's well laid plans, and was a wild card that came out of nowhere.

He won, in large part, because the political establishment had no idea how to deal with such a candidate. He was independently wealthy, a name brand, industry titan, widely admired, best selling author, beholden to no one, and completely uncontrollable.

There was nothing in any of their playbooks that could help them tackle such a character. He flummoxed the entire establishment so badly, Obama resorted to siccing his deep state jackals on his campaign, in a last ditch effort to either find some dirt on him, or set his people up to commit some federal offense.

In the end, nothing worked, and Trump beat them all.

Again you COMPLETELY miss the point, which is what happens when you spend so much time with your head in the tee vee. Liberal OR conservative.

Donald Trump is one of the two or three best businessmen of the 20th and 21st century.

The economy was terrible.

A LOT of people of both parties thought maybe we should put a businessman in the White House.

Forget Hillary and all the other extraneous BS. A big bloc of voters wanted Donald Trump because he WAS Donald Trump, world-class businessman.

And they still do. Because it’s WORKING.
