Barring a zombie apocalypse, alien invasion or Hillary being indicted for her crimes by the Obama-run DOJ (which is about as likely as the first two), Donald Trump is not going to be the next president. Even if Hillary’s horrible cough turns out to be a symptom of some fatal disease, Trump still won’t be elected because whoever her vice president turns out to be will still beat him.

I thank God everyday that Donald Trump won in 2016.
I suspect he’s just a fairly traditional, color inside the lines conservative commentator that genuinely believed the GOP party line.
I think he genuinely thought he was being helpful but really just showcased how he was hoplessly out of touch. Guys like this would give us a Jeb Bush, read the script right through election night, and then say he didn’t see Jeb’s loss coming but, aw shucks, better luck in 4 years, right?

You are probably right but I do remember that Salem radio Pimped Rubio‘s gang of eight amnesty bill. They ordered all of their radio talkers to have Rubio on camping his amnesty . Since Townhall is owned by Salem I wouldn’t be surprised if they got the same instructions.

The zombie apocalypse is what is happening now as all of the anti-Trumpers are wandering around looking for brains. The ones that they putatively had prior to November 2016 got fried, parboiled, fricasseed, flambéed or just reduced to dust in that horrible night!
Even now, watching those treasured TV minutes as their confident, nay, arrogant glee turned into rancid pudding in their own mouths as they realized their idol had fallen and with her, their hopes for a 3rd Obama Administration!

What a difference a few months makes. Columnist John Hawkins was such an anti-Trumper that he didn’t even cover the Republican National Convention. He didn’t catch up with the Trump Train until it had already left the station.
The week after Trump’s historic victory, one might think Hawkins had been blinded by the light on the Road to Damascus. Without any since of irony, he was already re-writing history, declaring that Democratic Party nominee Hillary Clinton never stood a chance.
“Hillary Clinton? Seriously? I can very easily understand not liking Trump. What I don’t really understand is this sanctimonious, “How can anyone vote for Donald Trump?” attitude from people who were backing Hillary Clinton. Here’s a woman who’s famous not for her own achievements, but because she married the man who became President. She’s unlikable, dishonest to a fault and deeply corrupt.”

At that time I must admit that I believed the drive by press claim that "he doesn't stand a chance".
But the enthusiasm is still in my memory and when I contrast it to the Javitz Center at about 11PM on Election Night I break out into a huge grin.
This d-bag actually called it, though I'm sure he meant a different sort of "alien invasion". I wonder if he has since realized the irony of his comment.
