very true. but such momentum carries only so far with thoughtful folks who bother to pay attention ... so a lot of those types of folks are pealing away from the Dem party ... the only question is how many of those multi-generation Dems are thoughtful folks who are bothering to pay attention ...

believe me, many of those legacy Dems are peeling away from the Dem party ... really because the party actually pealed away from them ... if you look back at the 60’s and 70’s, the Pub party is WAY closer to the old Dem party then than the old Dem party is to the modern Dem party of today ...
An exact analogy to this is brought to mind in Brigitte Gabriel's excellent book Because They Hate: A Survivor of Islamic Terror Warns America. (I got a chance to see her give a lecture some years ago, it was excellent. A real firecracker of a woman. She had to have a huge bodyguard at nearly arms length from her the whole time, and I could easily imagine there were muslims who would murder this attractive, outspoken woman if they had the opportunity. Didn't shut her up, though. She came out with guns blazing!
She grew up as a Christian in Lebanon during the Civil War, and had heard (and believed) how evil the Jews were, even as a Christian. Her family was forced to live for seven years in a bombed out cellar with no electricity or running water, and after her mother was injured in an attack, she took her mother through the Israeli lines where she found the Israelis were not only NOT the monsters they were portrayed as, but they gave her mother care before a wounded Israeli soldier was treated, and had Israelis bring her family food and clothes.
She saw that all the propaganda she had been force fed by both Christians and Muslims was simply not true. The Israelis, she saw with her own eyes, were good and decent people.
Same with conservatives. A lot of leftists believe the crap the Media puts out about us.
They can give as much as they want... if they have it.
But if people leave the union and not pay the dues, the question then becomes will they have the money to give to the Democrats.
I just read many stories on the hash tag. Refreshing! People are waking up.

Wasn’t there a story posted here on NR about a group of Asian parents in NYC forcing a local council person to take back his support of Comrade de Blasio’s affirmative action plan for private schools within the city? A growing number of people see that political party as a carnival sideshow!

Perhaps, but not ALL of them, and that’s the key to victory with the country spit the way it is at present. A few percentage point shift makes a huge difference in many races.

One of our challenges as some Dems are reconsidering their allegiances, will be to continue to be calm, logical, and welcoming. It will amaze them, as they discover that we are not all evil racists....
They’ve already ditched the illegals. The demon screams last week over “ripping babies from their mothers” have now been refocused to “this country is dead because of Kennedy retiring”!! The pivot has been simply amazing!
I must say, it’s quite fun to watch!

Trump has shown that you can win if you never quit. So many people are fed up with the horses*t in government and our media. But most thought they could never make a difference because they were one person and what can one person do?
Early in his campaign he was being interviewed and was talking about how he became successful. He said the one reason above others was he would never quit trying to achieve his goal. He also said he taught this to all his children along with teaching them the harmful effects of drugs and alcohol. None of his children drink of smoke and there has never been a hint of scandal about them. If there was you just know the media filth would be all over it.
OK, a bit off point there but what has happened is many people can see Trump’s never say die attitude and fearless determination, seen also his successes and now believe they also can make a difference if they just continue to fight for what they believe.
Trump us a true leader and one of the best motivational speakers I have yet seen.

Unions gave been on life support for years! They used to represent over 1/3 of all workers in America in their heyday and that number is today about 8%.
You can bet at least 80-90% of all workers affected by this ruling will stop paying their dues.

Had been talking to her and working with her on local anti-corruption efforts for some time. She’s good-hearted but as for many, the 2016 election was a learning experience for many of us.
They reveal themselves on all sides and we learn the game played against us.
We should always welcome the conversation with others of good will. In this instance, she’s done a complete 180.
She’s not alone.
I’ve never seen such continuous vulgarity and nastiness....especially from the women.
From what I just read at that site, it’s truly impressive. Let’s hope more and more people are finally waking up and seeing the Democrats for what they are and what they stand for. God Bless Donald Trump!
That is my hope, but many of them are blindly ensconced.

A number of them certainly do care about this country and they’re showing it when thousands of them show up at a Trump rally to support the man because he’s supporting them.
But do some Democrats hate America? Absolutely.
But not all of them.
