The immigration bill has FAILED in the house, per Fox News.
If they weren’t so dysfunctional themselves, dems would have been smart to vote in mass FOR this bill, just to attempt to create distrust amongst President Trumps base. But alas, another lost opportunity, hehe.
You know Ryan must have known it was going to fail. Ryan is swamp IMO, but it makes me wonder what his rationale really was...I have to get crazy creative to come up with a reason.
And Mitch needs to get rid of the filibuster so that it can pass the Senate.

Under the Obama Doctrine, now that Congress has failed to act, Trump can use his pen and phone to resolve the situation himself.
The vote was 301-121, with nearly half of Republicans opposing the measure.
Also, I don’t think the two Senators from Wyoming belong in that group.
If we lose Wyoming, we’ve lost the nation. 🇺🇸

You have to accept amnesty applicants from non-contiguous states at the border. You can’t keep kids with their family. The EO will not stand up against a consent decree ratified in Congress and signed by POTUS in ‘97. Why NOT process amnesty applicants at the US embassy in their home country. You could have an administrative judge and a public attorney in each embassy or consulate, and do any appeals via e-mail to the States. It is insane to encourage people to brave the Mexican dessert or the high seas of the Caribbean just to make an amnesty application that could be more readily investigated inside the country of origin with the aid of diplomats’ clout protecting the investigators.
The law sucks, and has only lasted so long because until Trump nobody seriously tried to abide by it. Now the secret’s out. It sucks. It must be replaced. But nobody replaces it, either out of cowardice or fecklessness or both.

Immigration reform isn’t going to happen until after the midterms...
How the midterms turn out will dictate what will happen.
If Dems win, or gain significantly in the house, NOTHING will happen.
If R’s win big, you will see the political needle move, and something will likely happen

Granted, perhaps we have low expectations, but on a great three day period where the travel ban was upheld, the Janus landmark decision came down, and Leftist Justice Kennedy retired, this is EXACTLY the kind of turd in a punchbowl thing we have come to expect.
