Even if you could irrefutably prove the premise of your argument, the result you hope for would likely not come about; because, while the President nominates a candidate for consideration to be placed on the SCOTUS, it is the Senate that confirms the candidate to that position.

He’s wrong. I read the actual holding. In limited cases involving relatives an Article III hearing can be held on a case-by-case basis.

Early on I read something about “the four corners” principle that simply meant they court cannot take into account campaign statements, just the 4 corners of the paper the law is written on.
In addition to this ruling that judge in Hawaii should have been sanctioned. At the very least warned not to stick his nose in it again.
The president is already set the narrative for this argument. Sex trafficking illegal drugs and MS-13 gang members. Simply put, he has the authority to ban entry from folks from these countries without proper vetting. That would mean anyone trying to bypass the system would be automatically subject to removal
