I saw that. MSNBC has the exact same narrative. Talking heads are saying “Trump targeted a religious group he clearly hates.” They are also freaking out, hyperventilating that this ruling will “embolden” Trump. They thought they had the President on the run with this “separating refugee families” garbage. If I were the POTUS, I would begin mass deportations this afternoon. Send these Illegal Invaders back to their own countries.
Yes, the president should close the Mexican border, secure it with troops, and say no one crosses until Mexico can control its citizens and guests. The country openly encourages transit and invasion. We need to stop it. Mexico needs us more than we need them. Maybe reopen with condition they pay for the wall, which helps them fulfill their obligation.

Hawaii had asked that the Travel Ban be enjoined during the trial. The District Court (trial) judge did so and the Ninth Circus affirmed. Today’s decision holds that the Travel Ban will be in effect during the trial, because Hawaii is unlikely to win on the merits. This signals that the Supreme Court would reach the same result post-trial that it did today. A trial would be a spiteful act. Even if it happens and even if the trial goes against the Travel Ban, the Supreme Court would likely quickly reverse.

The lower courts cannot challenge the Proclamation and the authority of the President. They can only nit pick based on particular circumstances, for example whether or not a specific individual should be banned under this Proclamation. The travel ban is in effect and will be enforced.
