Jordans King Abdullah II Bin Al-Hussein shared an unusually flattering assessment of President Donald Trump on Monday, praising the presidents humility and grace during a visit to the White House.
If the rest of the world just took a little bit of your humility and your grace, wed be in a lot better position, Abdullah said.
Trump thanked Abdullah for the compliment, pointing out to the press that he used the word humility to describe him.
Im happy with that word, Trump grinned. Its probably the nicest compliment Ive been given in a long time.
Trump praised the king of Jordan for his humanitarian efforts on behalf of Syrian refugees.

Say what you want, that’s pretty danged cool.
LOL
Humility
In Leftist circles, the wince heard round the world...
the king is not friendly to the west much at all, really
and he continues to be uncooperative in much of what could help improve his region too
but.. he is totally dependent on USA and Israel for defense of both his sand dunes (”kindgom”) and his position (”monarchy” therein
either or both could be overrun or deposed ... overnight...
without America or Israel defense
methinks we should take him aside in private and work out a much better bargain with him for USA and Israel... he could take his Occupiers back into his “kingdom” for starters, with some ecomomic assistance which could be derived from the other “kingdom” that depends on our defense, “Saudi” Arabia, so there’d be no net cost to USA to solve the mideast crap, or at least solve a big part of it)
but this will require some good old-fashioned art of Dealmaking
do we know anyone who’s up to it? he’ll first have to Drain the damned Snake Department (Nazi and IslamoNazi) Swamp (and reassign his meddlesome family Kishner and Greenblatt to some non-foreign-policy matters within their capabilities)
I’ve always liked King Abdullah.
No offense to Melania, but Queen Rania may be the most stunning "First Lady" in the world.
They don't do as much as we would like, but it's fully understandable why they don't.
I don't think U. S. leadership thinks of Jordan as an enemy at all. Both this king and his father have been as cordial with the U. S. as circumstances allow.
Soros singled out Jordan for 'special treatment' during the Arab Spring.
About 70 percent of Jordan's population is of Palestinian origin, almost two million of them in refugee camps, but generally they are well integrated into Jordanian society.Jan 10, 2013
I don't why you would say that. He was educated in Great Britain and in the U.S., and served as an officer in the British Army.
His older children have been educated in the U.S. as well.
Jordan sometimes gets a bum rap because of their historical ties to Saddam Hussein and his Ba'athist government in Iraq. They didn't have much of a choice in the matter. Unlike most of its neighbors, Jordan has no natural resources and relied on Iraqi oil and gas for its survival.
I noticed her years ago. At that time there was a photo of her going around that made this one you provided, look terrible by comparison.
She is a stunning looking woman, and I think she’s quite good on the international stage.
She attends a number of international meetings.
She’s beautiful, well polished, and seems to be a great wife and mother.
Good for her.
As for Melania, she is just what we need right now.
She’s never been my cup of tea looks wise, but I don’t want anyone to think I don’t think she’s attractive. I think she is both physically and mentally.
We are so fortunate...
Yes. I will say, I have a pretty good amount of respect for this king and his father.
The father didn’t spare his son, and it made him a more well rounded king.
Both men selected one wife, and they somehow kept that love alive. Queen Noor was a very beautiful and capable woman.
Over the years I saw her address international issues with a very adept ability.
Both men picked beautiful, intelligent women.
Kudos guys...
King Abdullah II is the 43rd descendant from Mohammed himself. He is pro-Islam before everything else, regardless of what this man says. Look up the words Arabic words, “Hudna” and “Taqiyya”. If he could destroy Israel, he would do so at a moments notice (like his father tried to do in 1967)
That’s my King, a very smart guy. Jordan’s leaders have been under attack by the terrorists for years; it has also had assassination attempts on the King.
Jordan is a special nation to us and we will grow closer under Trump as we should and Egypt will also be a larger part of our goals in the ME.
The Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem was restored over a couple of years and re-opened in 2017. King Abdullah was one of the major donors for the project -- from his own wealth, not the taxpayers of Jordan.
That’s my King, a very smart and accomplished guy. Jordan’s leaders have been under attack by the terrorists for years; it has also had assassination attempts on the King.
Jordan is a special nation to us and is in the camp of the West more than most European nations. We will grow closer under Trump as we should and Egypt will also be a larger part of our goals in the ME.
He is also half American, as eligible for the presidency as the big zero.
The last I read, Jordan grows 40% of the agricultural product in the middle east by the way. It might be more now. It's been a while since I've seen an update on that fact.
