Rep. Steve King posted a warning on Twitter Sunday evening that the U.S. is heading toward a second civil war, comparing the present day actions of the anti-Trump resistance to the run-up to the Civil War.
King, an eight-term Congressman from Iowa, keyed off a PJ Media article about leftist protesters shutting down a Portland, Oregon ICE office and taking down the U.S. flag, replacing with an Refugees Welcome flag.

In most cases. However we are fortunate enough to live on a peninsula, the base of which contains all the liberals and the entry to the rest of the country.
Additionally we reside among a huge hunting and boating population. So all we worry about is staying overstocked. And we did a lot of canning last year.
On our road we utilize our neighbor's shooting range for practise and btw, he has access to most local officials and news...if they come from his direction he will take them out before they get to us. And our place is not so easy to get to and forget it if you have one of those cute little cars. Especially in the winter.
There is a national guard - a huge one - training camp nearby and we are not sure what that will mean.
In the meantime people in cities should have getaway plans and all Michiganders are welcome to camp on our land.
