If I was Sessions and I knew that 1) ALL the FISA prosecutions in the last 10 years would be up for re-adjudication and that 2) the diplomatic relations with GB and Australia may be in serious jeopardy, then I’d be treading very lightly.
I wouldn’t move until I could prove every single whisper.
Cuz once #1 is out, you’re gonna have 100 criminal defense attorneys filing to get their clients out and once #2 hits, we may be in the position of having to take major diplomatic steps against so-called “allies.”

If I was Sessions... If you were Jeff Sessions, you would have withdrawn your recusal or resigned, long ago.
As long as he remains recused, he is legally forbidden to touch anything even tangentially related to the 2016 election.
