Regarding a request (#9) by Goodlatte/Gowdy on all emails related to "all coverage on the Clinton Foundation or persons associated or in communication with the Clinton Foundation," the FBI is replying with a classified letter. This is also related to request #8 and the two are intertwined, so materials are put in a classified briefing room.
After the committee reads those materials, it is asked to then specify further what other docs they want.
Charles Ortel has done massive work on this. It seems pretty straightforward.
This sounds like another modified, limited, hangout. It is past time to send in the marines and if Rosenstein gets in the way, oh well.
I bookmarked his web page; looks interesting, thank you!
As I understand it, Sessions has had an investigation going on for it in Arkansas, NYC, and I forget, maybe another region or two. I hope that ties in to some of the many sealed indictments his DoJ has been racking up!
We could start with the ~$45M annual "other expenses" which are not detailed further. I bet this is the pool of money from which they pay the hundreds of people that know specifics of the Clintons' past criminal and embarrassing actions going back 40 years. I suspect the funds get trickled down several levels via legitimate-seeming grants, consultants and other "charities" into the hands of harassment and rape victims, troopers, fixers, coroners, cops, judges, government and S&L employees, etc. There are a lot of people with knowledge of the Clinton downside legacy that need to be kept quiet as long as possible.
IMHO the FISA abuse leads to 0.
Offering classified info for $$ is also known as espionage.
Sounds to me like more obfuscation and delay.
Sorry, I'm jaded by all the BS and stalling. Way past time for more tidlywinks. Time for action, indictments, grand juries, chains, prison jump suits, handcuffs, guilty as charged findings, followed by long prison sentences, el al.

Goodlatte on Fox: We now have an office at the DoJ..a reading room were a million documents reside. We can examine all of those documents unredacted, identify the ones we want produced and they are producing them.

Goodlatte just said on Fox they have a classified reading room at DOJ with ALL the UNREDACTED docs they requested.
Obfuscation? Doesn’t sound like it.
Nope. Goodlatte just said on Fox they have a classified reading room at DOJ, 1 m docs, everything they requested, UNREDACTED.
What part of, “After the committee reads those materials, it is asked to then specify further what other docs they want.” don’t you understand? This back and forth has been going on for weeks!
If you were Jeff Sessions, you would have withdrawn your recusal or resigned, long ago.
As long as he remains recused, he is legally forbidden to touch anything even tangentially related to the 2016 election.
Yet he oversees all budgets, knows each budget line, knows what’s being spent, who is spending it. . .
Guess you missed the subsequent Goodlatte tweet saying they have a classified reading room set up at DOJ, that ALL docs have been provided.
Try to keep up.
Sorry, I don’t follow, and have no use for, social media. My comment had to do with what was stated in the original article, nothing more.
Larry, that's got nothing whatsoever to do with my comment.
The point is - Jeff Sessions, per his recusal, is legally forbidden to touch anything related to the 2016 election.
If he's smart, he'll strictly adhere to that, because if his fingerprints are found on any investigation connected to the past election, all of that work will be thrown out in court.
Larry, the man isn't doing anything but sitting inert, nullifying the office of US AG.
Just another road to nowhere in the maze called the Swamp.
One monetized asset was the IDs of foreign assets supplying the U.S. intelligence agencies with information impossible to get any other way. These assets are now dead, and Hilliary, as SoS, should not have had the information in the first place. It appears we have multiple (roughly 100-200) leakers to Hilliary. This is in addition to the Awan leaks.
The U.S. wants to keep this hush-hush, else it will be difficult to acquire foreign assets for the next 50 years. In the center is Hilliary, as she monetized the assets (one Libyan general, 20 PRC high level assets, etc.). But the leakers are still in place, and it is critical to ID as many as can.
Goodlatte just said on Fox they have a classified reading room at DOJ with ALL the UNREDACTED docs they requested.
This is good news.
