Regarding a request (#9) by Goodlatte/Gowdy on all emails related to "all coverage on the Clinton Foundation or persons associated or in communication with the Clinton Foundation," the FBI is replying with a classified letter. This is also related to request #8 and the two are intertwined, so materials are put in a classified briefing room.
After the committee reads those materials, it is asked to then specify further what other docs they want.

They sent a letter.
Saying they will send more redacted docs . In a few years. Maybe.

But to be fair, the letter was pretty strongly worded.
I can’t believe this counts as breaking news.

"There nonprofit status should be revoked for many other reasons. It was only chartered in support of the Clinton library. Not, of course, all the government kickbacks and bribery, etc."If they had evidence of this it would be a clear reason to investigate further. Regardless of how we feel about Killary, the foundation would be at risk and they would have reason to review the receipts and disbursements .....which might indeed show other damning evidence?
Never forget Al Capone: guilty of many crimes but it was the revenuers that ultimately put him away, 555.

First thing that came to mind...why is the Clinton Foundation trafficking in any information that could be considered classified information?
Am I wrong in questioning that?

No, you are exactly right.
It appears she was offering “Special Access Programs” (SAPs) for $$. These are programs not available to foreign buyers, like, say, the Stealth 117 before it was public.

Some of the docs they requested are classified. These are the SAPs or Special Access Programs that apparently Cankles was trying to sell.

I misread this. It is a request for FISAs OF the Clinton Foundation, in other words, for evidence that CCFF was being investigated!

And I explained why not. 1) You will open up a whole backlog of cases, criminals will walk free right and left; and 2) GB and Australia are deeply involved, and there will be major diplomatic repercussions. These things must be figured out and are not easy.

The usual excuse is “national security, sources and methods”, in my opinion, fraudulent excuses to block transparency.

He’s not nearly as recused as you think.
Who do you think oversees all the budgets? Who signs off on them? Who sees every single line item?
He doesn’t even need a briefing to know exactly what’s going on.
