A Reddit user posted video that shows a priest slapping a baby during a baptism.
The video, which was also posted on YouTube, has a French title that translates to “A priest slaps an infant during his baptism.”
At first, the 43-second video clip shows the priest, who is speaking French, attempting to comfort the crying baby.
But when the crying doesn’t stop, the priest slaps the baby in the face.
A man and woman, who appear to be the child’s parents, looked shocked by the slap.
The woman can be heard saying something to the priest before the man has to physically remove the baby from the priest’s arms.
That priest should stil be looking for his teeth.
Maybe he thought he was doing an old style confirmation.
He is senile and needs to be retired to Siberia
Doctors do the same thing, only earlier in life.
I don’t know why anyone would trust their child in the hands of a priest. Now the parents have “permission” to slap the kid around.

He didn’t just slap the baby, he looks like he is covering the baby’s mouth, squeezing painfully - maybe in an attempt to smother it?
He needs to have his protected and pensioned ass kicked.
I was Catholic but left as the church has ALWAYS protected pedophiles and abusers, keeping them on salary and pension with benefits - even moving the rapists to unsuspecting communities without notifying them of the molester in the midst.
This POS needs to be stripped of everything and banished to hell.
I was warned that the bishop was going to slap me. It was a pitiful love tap. My father could have showed him a thing or two.

Some Roman Catholics are not aware the priest used to slap the individual. There was a very lively debate on this a year or so ago IIRC.
The doc slaps a “cheek” on the baby’s other end, though.
Face it; the priest is old, and possibly light in the loafers, as well. MAY even be pro-abortion. So to him; holding that infant may well have seemed loathesome.
The unfortunate reality is that Christian religious life is in decline in Europe. There are fewer and fewer adherents and even fewer people going in to ministry or the Priesthood. It’s a death spiral. As a result, Priests who should be in retirement are working well beyond their “Best if used by” date. Strories of horror like this (correctly - this is a tragic situation) grab the headlines, more people fall away, and Satan laughing spreads his wings.

The church I went to had baptismal fonts in the front and back of the church . . . that way the babies could be slapped on both ends.
Maybe his perversion of choice is S&M.
Tip: Don’t baptize babies. Not Biblical.
